The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                       055:015 to 019

 

خَلَقَ الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنۡ صَلۡصَالٍ كَالۡفَخَّارِ ۙ ○  وَخَلَقَ الۡجَآنَّ مِنۡ مَّارِجٍ مِّنۡ نَّار ۚ ○  فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏  ○ رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَ رَبُّ الۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ‌  ○ ۚ   فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰن○ ‏

 

  1. Kha-la-qul-in-saa-na-min-sul-saa-lin-kul-fukh-khaa-r
  2. Wa-kha-la-qul-jaan-na-min-maa-ray-jim-min-naa-r
  3. Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n
  4. Rub-bool-mush-ray-qai-nay-wa-rub-bool-mugh-ray-bain
  5. Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n

 

  1. He created man from clay like rattling pieces of broken pottery
  2. And He created the Jinn from red-hot coal of fire
  3. So with which blessings of God of you two can you both deny
  4. The Lord God of the two Orients and two Occident’s
  5. So with which blessings of God of you two can you both deny

The Holy Qor-aan       055:015

خَلَقَ الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنۡ صَلۡصَالٍ كَالۡفَخَّارِۙ

Kha-la-qul-in-saa-na-min-sul-saa-lin-kul-fukh-khaa-r

He created man from clay like rattling pieces of broken pottery

  • خَلَقَ — Kha-la-qa … (ul) —  He created (= v., past., m., s., 3rd person. Brought into being; created; formed; originated; produced; shaped. Made from scratch to give forms and faces in due proportions. See 003:060)
  • الۡاِنۡسَانَ  — In-saa-na — Man (= n., Mankind; the species known as man including his  feminine gender woman. As a derivative from the root   ا  ن   س   that means love, the word  الۡاِنۡسَانَ   means one who has two loves, i.e., for his Creator and his fellow creatures. A human being. A/t/a, ‘man (Adam))
  • مِنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several articles, counts, kind, things, persons or phenomenon. A/t/a, ‘of’)
  •  صَلۡصَا لٍ — Sul-saa-lin — Clay (= n., Dirt; dust; earth. A/t/a, ‘clay,’ ‘sounding clay,’ ‘dry clay,’ ‘dry ringing clay’ and ‘essence extracted from dry ringing clay’)
  • كَ — Ka…(ul) — Like (= Identical; resembling; similar to the one stated in prior verse to. Take the example or similitude of)
  • الۡفَخَّارِ — Fukh-khaar — Pottery (= n., Pieces of baked clay in the form of earthen vessels,  i.e., ‘hollow or concave utensil like a cup, bowl, pitcher or vase used for holding liquids or other contents.’ A/t/a,’baked pottery,’ ‘pottery,’ ‘clay of pottery,’ ‘potter’s clay,’ ‘the potter’s,’  ‘a piece of baked pottery (-with the faculty of speech and possessing pliant and submissive nature,’ ‘earthen vessels’ and ‘the earthenware’)

وَخَلَقَ الۡجَآنَّ مِنۡ مَّارِجٍ مِّنۡ نَّارٍ‌ۚ‏

Wa-kha-la-qul-jaan-na-min-maa-ray-jim-min-naa-r

And He created the Jinn from red-hot coal of fire

  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
  • خَلَقَ  Kha-la-qa(ul) — He created (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Brought into being; created. See خَلَقَ above)
  • الۡجَآ نَّ — Jaan-na — Jinn (= n., pl., Djin; Jin. Secret beings; hidden from being seen  by human eye; fiery-natured haughty individuals)
  • مِنۡ — Min(m) –From (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several articles, counts, kind, things, persons or phenomenon)
  • مَّارِجٍ — Maa-ray-jain(m) — Red-hot coal (= n., Flicker; flame; offshoot; ray; red hot coals of a fire without smoke that appears in its early start-up stages; spark. A/t/a, ‘free of      smoke,’ ‘smokeless flame,’ ‘flame’ and ‘smokeless fire’)
  • مِنَ — Min — From (= Among, from o out of a class, etc. See مِنۡ  above)
  • نَارٌ — Naa-r(oon) — Fire (= Rapid sustained chemical reaction releasing heat and light. Also, a source for light and heat. A/t/a,’fire (- possessing fire nature)’ )

The Holy Qor-aan       055:017

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏

Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n

So with which blessings of God of you two can you both deny

  • فَ — Fa — So (= Hence; then; thus; at the end; in conclusion; in the final analysis; consequently; finally; resultantly; therefore)
  • بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word  بِ  means ‘with’)
  • اَىِّ — Auy-yay — Which (= What. A/t/a, ‘Which is it’)
  • اٰلَاۤءِ — Aa-laa-aiy — Blessings (= n., pl., Donations; gifts; grants; favors; freebees; handouts. A/t/a, ‘bounties,’ ‘benefactions’ and ‘favours’)
  • رَبِّ — Rub-bay — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we  and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
  • كُمَا — Ko-maa — You two ** (= pro., 2pl., m., 2nd person. You both or twain. You two  bands, bunches, cliques, cults or groups.. Reference is to the bodies of men and jinn. A/t/a, ‘your’ [several authors], ‘you twain (jinn and men)’ and ‘you twain (believers and disbelievers).’ See Note 055:014)
  • تُكَذِّبٰنِ — To-kuz-zay-baa-n — You both can deny (= v., 2pl., 2nd person. Belie; contradict; decline; disagree; disapprove; discredit; disprove; rebuff; refuse; turn down. A/t/a, ‘will ye deny,’ ‘will you deny,’ ‘ye twain, O men and jinn, deny,’ ‘will you twain deny, O men and Jinn,’ ‘will you both (jinn and men) deny,’ ‘would you deny’ and ‘that ye deny’)

The Holy Qor-aan       055:018

 رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَ رَبُّ الۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ‌ۚ‏

Rub-bool-mush-ray-qai-nay-wa-rub-bool-mugh-ray-bain

The Lord God of the two Orients and two Occident’s

  • رَبُّ — Rub-bo(ol) The — Lord God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
  • الۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ — Maush-ray-qai-nay — Two Orients (= n., Two kinds of the East. Reference can be to the geographical fact of two North and South extremes or points every year where the Sun appears to rise in the East, or the cultural fact of the individual practitioners as against their professional peers. A/t/a, ‘Orients,’ ‘the two Easts,’ ‘the two easts,’ and ‘the two easts (places of sunrises during early summer and early winter’)
  • وَ  — Wa…(ul) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See  وَ  above)
  • رَبُّ — Rub-bo(ol) — God (= The Almighty Allah; Creator. See  رَبُّ  above)
  • الۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ — Maugh-ray-bai-nay — Two Occident’s (= n., Two kinds of the West. Reference is to the geographical fact of two North and South extremes or points every year where Sun appears to set in the West, or ‘any narrative covering any comparative law, discipline, critique or comparison, navigating the mainstreams, orientalizing comparative law’s occident [Free Dictionary]. A/t/a, ‘Occidents,’ ‘the two Wests,’ ‘the two wests’ and ‘the two wests (places of sunsets during early summer and early winter’)

○ فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏
