The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                         055:077 to 079

○ ‏مُتَّكِــِٕيۡنَ عَلٰى رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٍ وَّعَبۡقَرِىٍّ حِسَانٍ‌ ۚ ○‏  فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏○  تَبٰـرَكَ اسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى الۡجَـلٰلِ وَالۡاِكۡرَامِ

77. Moot-ta-kay-ee-na-slaa-ruf-ra-rin-khooz-rin-wa-ub-qa-re-yin-he-saa-n
78. Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n
79. Ta-baa-ra-kus-mo-rub-bay-ka-zil-ja-laa-lay-wul-ik-raa-m

77. Reclining on green cushions and beautiful thick carpets
78. So with which blessings of God of you two can you both deny
79. Blessings on the name of your God Lord of Majesty and Grandeur

The Holy Qor-aan       055:077

مُتَّكِــِٕيۡنَ عَلٰى رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٍ وَّعَبۡقَرِىٍّ حِسَانٍ ۚ ○‏ 

Moot-ta-kay-ee-na-slaa-ruf-ra-rin-khooz-rin-wa-ub-qa-re-yin-he-saan

Reclining on green cushions and beautiful thick carpets                                  

• مُتَّكِـــِٕيۡنَ — Moot-ta-kay-ee-na — Reclining (= n. Those sitting in the half up-right position in relaxing postures; reclining. A/t/a, ‘They will recline,’ ‘(The owners of Paradise will be) reclining’ and ‘they shall recline’ is a translation as a verb of what the Holy Qor-aan has stated as a noun)
• عَلٰى — Alaa — On (= Above; against; before; during; for; on; on top of; over; to; upon)
• رَفۡرَفٍ — Ruf-ra-fin — Cushions (= n., Small square pillows with fillings of fluffy cotton, downs or wool)
• خُضۡرٍ — Khooz-rin — Green (= Catching, pleasing and soothing eyes with green color)
• وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; instead; more over; rather; though; when; yet; whereupon; while)
• عَبۡقَرِىٍّ — Ub-qa-ree-yin — Thick carpets (= n., Thick mats; spreads made of mostly wool used to cover floors or ground for beauty, comfort and warmth; floor-mats crafted, knit and woven generally by hands but since the Industrialization also by machines. A/t/a,  ‘carpets,’ ‘rich carpet,’ ‘fine rich carpets’ and ‘mattresses’)
• حِسَانٌ — Hay-saa-n — Beautiful (= adj., Excellent. A/t/a, ‘beautiful,’ ‘rich beautiful,’ ‘of beauty,’ ‘of lovely beauty’ and ‘fair’)

The Holy Qor-aan       055:078

○ فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏

Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n

So with which blessings of God of you two can you both deny

• فَ — Fa — So (= Hence; then; thus; at the end; in conclusion; in the final analysis; consequently; finally; resultantly; therefore)
• بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word  بِ  means ‘with’)
• اَىِّ — Auy-yay — Which (= What. A/t/a, ‘Which is it’)
• اٰلَاۤءِ — Aa-laa-aiy — Blessings (= n., pl., Donations; gifts; grants; favors; freebees; handouts. A/t/a, ‘bounties,’ ‘benefactions’ and ‘favours’)
• رَبِّ — Rub-bay — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we  and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
• كُمَا — Ko-maa — You two (= pro., 2pl., m., 2^nd person. You both or twain. You two  bands, bunches, cliques, cults or groups.. Reference is to the bodies of men and jinn. A/t/a, ‘your’ [several authors], ‘you twain (jinn and men)’ and ‘you twain (believers and disbelievers)’)
• تُكَذِّبٰنِ — To-kuz-zay-baa-n — You both can deny (= v., 2pl., 2^nd person. Belie; contradict; decline; disagree; disapprove; discredit; disprove; rebuff; refuse; turn down. A/t/a, ‘will ye deny,’ ‘will you deny,’ ‘ye twain, O men and jinn, deny,’ ‘will you twain deny, O men and Jinn,’ ‘will you both (jinn and men) deny,’ ‘would you deny’ and ‘that ye deny’)

○‏ تَبٰـرَكَ اسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى الۡجَـلٰلِ وَالۡاِكۡرَامِ   

Ta-baa-ra-kus-mo-rub-bay-ka-zil-ja-laa-lay-wul-ik-raa-m 

Blessings on the name of your God Lord of Majesty and Grandeur

• تَبٰـرَكَ — Ta-baa-ra-ka — Blessings on (= A/t/a, ‘Blessed be ‘ and ‘Blessed is’)
• اسۡمُ — Is-mo — Name (= n., sing., The labels or means with which one person or  thing is addressed, called or named)
• رَبِّ — Rub-bay — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we  and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
• كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2^nd person. You single male)
• ذِى — Zay .. (il) — Lord of (= Controller; Lord; Master; owner; possessor. A/t/a, ‘Master’ and ‘the owner’)
• الۡجَـلٰلِ — Ja-laa-lay — Grandeur (= n., Awe; Mighty; Majestic; Majesty. A/t/a, ‘full of Majesty’ and ‘Glory’)
• وَ — Wa…(ul) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See   وَّ  above)
• الۡاِكۡرَامِ — Ik-raa-m — Generosity (= n., Greatness. Bounteous, Bountiful, Generous and Honored. Very Highly Respected; A/t/a, ‘Bounty and Honour,’ ‘Glory and Honour,’ ‘glory’ and ‘honour’)
