The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                            064:011

 

وَالَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَكَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَاۤ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا‌ ؕ وَبِئۡسَ الۡمَصِيۡرُ ‏

 

Wa  ul-la-zee-na  ka-fa-roo  wa  kauz-za-boo  bay  aa-yaa-tay  naa                                        O-laa-aiy-ka  us-haa-boon  naa-ray  khaa-lay-dee-na  fee  haa                                                Wa  bae-sa  ul-ma-see-r

 

And those who disbelieved and belied our signs                                                              Are all inmates of Fire. In it they are dwellers.                                                                And evil is the final return.

 

The first eleven (11) words are common in verses 002:040 and 064:011

  • وَ — Wa … (ul) — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases or clauses; also; but; additionally; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
  • ٱلَّذِينَ — La-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Refers to the disbelievers)
  • كَفَرُوۡا — Ka-fa-roo — Disbelieved (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Denied, refused or rejected the Faith or Belief in Allah, the Holy Qor-aan, Iss-laam and become Moslem. See Commentary BELIEVE and DISBELIEVE)
  • وَ  — Wa — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases, etc. See وَ  above)

The next 3 words are in verses 002:040003:012062:006 and 078:029

  • كَذَّبُوۡا — Kuz-za-boo — They belied (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Denied; derided, denounced, disowned, opposed, misrepresented, negated; rejected. Any translation in the present tense is not of what  the Holy Qor-aan has stated in the past tense)
  • بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with)
  • اٰيٰتِ — Aa-yaa-tay — Signs (= n., pl of … An argument, corroboration, indication, insinuation, pointer, portent, sign, suggestion, symbol or token. See Note 002:074)
  • نَآ —  Naa — Our (= pro., pl., 1st person. Us. Used with God’s name it is the the authoritative way a higher-up talks to a subordinate)
  • اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ — O-laa-aiy-ka — They all (= Aforesaid facts, persons or things. Here the reference is  to the said folks, people; sinners; wrong doers)
  • اَصۡحٰبُ — Us-haa-bo … (on) — Inmates (= n., pl., Associates; companions; folks; friends; people. Also, citizens; denizens; dwellers; families; fellows; heirs, inhabitants; inmates; live ins; natives; occupants; occupiers; populace; population; residents; controllers; masters; owners; possessors. Often added are qualifications of’ rightfully deserving / well-deserved’)
  • ٱلنَّارِ — Naa-ray — The Fire (= Anger, punishment or wrath of Allah; hell; hell fire; purgatory. The Fire of punishment. Literally, the rapid sustained reaction or source of releasing light and heat. The rule in اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ‌‌ۚ هُمۡ فِيۡهَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ is also repeated  several times including in 002:040, 002:082002:218002:258, 003:117)

Text in the next three (3) words is in many verses including verse 098:007

  • خٰلِدِيۡنَ — Khaa-lay-dee-na — Live-ins (= n., pl., Abiders; dwellers; residents. A/t/a, ‘will abide,’  ‘shall abide’ and ‘dwell’ are verbs and so inaccurate translations of the noun which the Holy Qor-aan has used in its text)
  • فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Amidst, inside or in the middle of an event, time, place, people, situation or duration)
  • هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person. Refers to the aforesaid Hell)

            Text in the next three (3)  words is in 002:127, 003:163 and 064:011

  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
  • بِئۡسَ — Bae-sa … (ul) — Evil (= adj., Bad; dismal; hapless; ill-fated; malevolent; nasty; miserable; sickening; sinful; undesirable; unfortunate; unpleasant; vile; wretched. A/t/a, ‘hapless’)
  • الۡمَصِيۡرُ — Ma-seer — Final return (= n., Abode; culmination of a course; destination;  place of eventual return; end; end of a journey or travel; final fate; ultimate home or residence. A/t/a, ‘goal,’ ‘resort,’ ‘journey’s end,’ destination,’ ‘place of return’ and ‘fate’)
