The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                             078:038

.

رَّبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا الرَّحۡمٰنِ‌ لَا يَمۡلِكُوۡنَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابًا‌ ۚ‏

 

Rub-boos-sa-maa-waa-tay-wul-ur-dzay                                                                                        Wa-maa-bai-na-ho-mur-rah-maa-nay                                                                                      Laa-yum-lay-koo-na-min-ho-khay-taa-baa    

 

The Lord God of the heavens and earth                                                                                And what is between those two is the Most Beneficent God.                                       They won’t have any authority from Him to address Him.

 

  • رَّبِّ — Rub-bis — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures;
    Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
  • السَّمٰوٰتِ — Sa-maa-waa-tay — The skies (= pl., Firmament; heavens. All above ground or earth and in the space above. Knowledge of the astronomical objects and geographical heights; A/t/a clouds, rains)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
  • الۡاَرۡضِ — Ur-dzay — Earth (=1. Area; country; earth; ground; land; soil; territory
    2. Life on earth. 3. Nation; people or society in general)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
  • مَا — Maa — What (= All that; whatever; whatsoever)
  • بَّيۡنَ — Bai-na — Between (= Betwixt. Lying down between two ends. Also ahead, facing or in front of)
  • هُمَا — Ho-maa– Those two (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Heaven and earth)
  • الرَّحۡمٰنِ — Rah-maan — Beneficent (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most. and highlights that none more than Him is the One who fully, totally and wholly benefits all, to the maximum, with no condition, limitation or restriction. Compassionate. Gracious)
  • لَا — Laa — No (= Never; neither; nor; not; absolute and total denial; not at all; negation without exception)
  • يَمۡلِكُوۡنَ — Yum-lay-koo-na — Have / Own (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Have any ability, authority, capacity, capability, control, daring, mastery, opportunity, ownership, permission or power. Also,  can, dare, own or possess power to argue, counter or even talk with Him. )
  • مِنۡ — Min — From (= From only Allah)
  • هُ — Ho — Him (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty God)
  • خِطَابًا‌– Khay-taa-baa — Address (= Argue; converse; have a dialogue; speak; talk)
