The Holy Qor-aan 078:041
اِنَّاۤ اَنۡذَرۡنٰـكُمۡ عَذَابًا قَرِيۡبًاۖۚ يَّوۡمَ يَنۡظُرُ الۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدٰهُ وَيَقُوۡلُ الۡـكٰفِرُ يٰلَيۡتَنِىۡ كُنۡتُ تُرٰبًا
In-na-un-zur-naa-koom-azaa-bun-qa-ree-bun–yao-ma-yun-zo-rool-mur-o-maa-qud-da-mut-ya-daa-ho–wa-ya-qoo-lool-kaa-fay-ro-yaa-lai-ta-nee-koon-to-to-ra-baa.
We surely have warned you of a nearby punishment. That day everyone will see what both his hands had forwarded. And the disbeliever would say, “I wish I was dust.”
- اِنَّـآ — In-na — We surely (= Combines two words. اِنَّ means ‘certainly, definitely,
surely or verily. And نَآ refers to the Almighty God) - اَنۡذَرۡ — Un-zur — Warned (= Cautioned; forewarned; put on notice)
- نَآ — Naa — We (= pro., pl., 1st person. We or us)
- کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You men. Generally this way the Holy Qor-aan addresses both men and women)
- عَذَابًا — Azaa-bun — Punishment (= Appropriate, due and fair agony, chastisement, doom, hard task; penalty, recompense; torment, torture or scourge)
- قَرِيۡبًا — Qa-ree-ba — Nearby (= A short distance, place or time; close at hand; imminent)
- يَّوۡمَ — Yao-ma — Day (= s., A period, term or time that ends; juncture)
- يَنۡظُرُ — Yun-zo-ro(ol) — See (= v., s., Consider; gaze; have regard for; look upon; reflect; take notice of; realize; watch)
- الۡمَرۡءُ — Ol-mur-o — Everyone (= Individual; man; person)
- مَا — Maa — What (= All that, whatever or whatsoever… works he did)
- قَدَّمَتۡ — Qud-da-mut — Forwarded (= v., Brought about. Produced. Recorded, saved, stored and sent ahead info for ‘Committing the evil he should NOT have done to receive appropriate discredits’ OR ‘Omitting to do good deeds he should have done to receive the much-needed credits)
- يَدَآ — Ya-daa– Both hands (= Pl for two which is unique in Arabic. With all his power)
- هُ — Ho — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid person)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- يَقُولُ — Ya-qoo-lo(ol) — He would say (= v., pr-t, s, m, 3rd person. The Disbeliever would convey, announce, broadcast, call, cry, declare, elaborate, inform, mutter, specify, state, tell, utter, wish)
- الۡـكٰفِرُ — Ol-kaa-fay-ro Disbeliever (= 1. Infidel; unbeliever. 2. Thankless; ungrateful)
- يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; pay attention; O!)
- لَيۡتَنِى — Lai-ta-n(ee) I wish (=Refers to s., m / f., 1st person Expressing remorse)
- كُنۡتُ — Koon-to — I was (= Had been or turned into)
- تُرٰبًا — To-raa-ba — Dust (= Dead; turned in dust. A/t/a Would that I was mere dust)
