The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                         004:127

 

 وَلِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ‌ ؕ  وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ مُّحِيۡـطًا ‏

 

Wa-lil-laa-hay-maa-fis-sa-maa-waa-tay-wa-maa-fil-ur-dzay                                                Wa-kaa-nul-laa-ho-bay-kool-lay-shai-in-mo-he-taa

 

For Allah is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth.                              And Allah is the One Who Rounds up all things

 

  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but;  also; more over; though; when; while; yet) 

The Phrase lil-laa-hay… meaning For Allah..” in next nine (9) words is repeated frequently

  • لِ — L … (il) — For (= Belonging to; for the benefit, person, purpose or reason)
  • اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • مَاۤ — Maa — All that (= What; whatever; whatsoever)
  • فِى — F … (is) — In (= About; amidst, among, inside a duration, time, place, period, thing or situation. Also, concerning; regarding, relative to or in reference. See Note 002:028)
  • السَّمٰوٰتِ — Sa-maa-waa-tay — The heavens (= n., pl., All above ground or earth; clouds; firmament; heavens; rain; skies; universe. Also, knowledge of astronomical objects in space)
  • وَ — Wa — And  (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
  • مَاۤ — Maa — All that (= What; whatever; whatsoever)
  • فِى — F… (il) —  In (= About, inside a time, place or thing. See فِىۡ above)
  • الۡاَرۡضِ — Ul-ur-dzay — Earth (= n., s., Area; country; earth; ground; land; territory. Also, life on earth, nation; people or society in general)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
  • كَانَ — Kaa-na(ul) — Has been (= v., past., s., m., 3rd person., Continued doing; had been; used to; were, went on doing. Indicates the continuity from the past to the present and leading into the future. The phrase ‘had always been’ indicates an endless continuation. A/t/a, ‘is’)
  • اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with
  • كُلِّ — Kool-lay — All (= 1. All; altogether; each and everyone; everything with no exception; in every manner; total; very much; whole.  2 Entirely; exceedingly; greatly, highly; totally; wholly)
  • شَىۡءٍ — Shai-in — Things (= Anything at all however little or insignificant. A whit. Not the least. Smallest part of an article, item, object, material, thing, matter, type, phenomenon or stuff. To the least extent)
  • مُحِيۡطًا‏ — Mo-he-taa — Who rounds up (= n., One who encircles, encompasses, herds together, rounds up or surrounds. The word implies a shepherd who rounds up all his cattle from getting lost. A/t/a, ‘Encompasseth,’ ‘surrendereth,’ ‘ever encompasses,’ ‘encompasses,’ ‘Ever Encompassing’ and ‘has knowledge’ but translating this word as a verb is not of what the Holy Qor-aan has stated as a noun)
