The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                             021:109

.

قُلۡ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَـٰهُڪُمۡ إِلَـٰهٌ۬ وَٲحِدٌ۬‌ۖ فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ

Qool-in-na-maa-yoo-haa-eluy-ya-un-na-maa-elaa-ho-koom                                                    Elaa-hoon-waa-hid–fa-hul-un-toom-mool-lay-moon

Say, “Indeed it has been revealed to me that your God                                                   Is Only One.  So will you now be submissive?”

  • قُلۡ — Qool — Say (= Announce, assert, broadcast, call, convey, declare; elaborate, explain, expound, inform, instruct, maintain, preach, proclaim, profess, propagate; specify, state and tell 1) others, 2) yourself, 3) your receiving it and 4) the resolve to obey the Commandment. See the Note under “112-All” and our Commentary “‘You say’ means“)
  • اِنَّمَا — In-na-maa — Indeed (= This phrase consists of two words. The first اِنَّ (in-na) means absolutely; doubtlessly; positively; earnestly; certainly; seriously; really; surely; truly; verily. The second مَاۤ (maa) means ‘all that, what, whatever. whatsoever.’ The two-worded phrase اِنَّمَا (inna-maa) lays great emphasis on the highlighted statement that follows it ‘absolutely and positively very accurate’)
  • يُوحَىٰٓ — Yoo-haa — Revealed (= Come or sent to me by way of inspiration. Inspired)
  • اِلٰٓى — E-luy…(ya) — To (= 1. In the direction of; towards. 2. For; until; till)
  • ىَ — Ya — Me (= s.,1st person. ‘My’. Refers to ‘man’ told to ‘say and pray’)
  • أَنَّمَآ — Un-na-maa — Most certainly (= The two phrases أَنَّمَا and the above اِنَّمَا mean the same)
  • إِلَـٰهُ — Elaa-ho — God (= Any deity, object, person or value worthy of worship)
  • کُمۡ — Koom — Your (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You men. Generally this way the Holy Qor-aan addresses both men and women)
  • إِلَـٰهٌ۬ — Elaa-ho — God (= Any deity, object, person or value worthy of worship)
  • وَّاحِدٍ — Waa-hay-din — One (= A single being, entity, item or individual. Monotonous)
  • فَ — Fa — So (= After all this; as a result; at the end; hence; in the final analysis; in conclusion; in consequence; then; therefore)
  • هَل — Hull — Will (= Word that questions:- Are you; will you; is it possible)
  • اَنۡ — Un — Surely (= Absolutely. Certainly. Definitely. Doubtlessly. Really. Earnestly. Indeed. Positively. Seriously. Truly. Verily)
  • تُمۡ — Toom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You men. See کُمۡ above)
  • مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ — Moos-lay-moon —  Submissive (= n., pl.,  The believers. The worshippers surrendered to the will of God in dedication and devotion and so at  peace. See Note 003:053)
