The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                               003:101

  

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنۡ تُطِيۡعُوۡا فَرِيۡقًا مِّنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡكِتٰبَ يَرُدُّوۡكُمۡ بَعۡدَ اِيۡمَانِكُمۡ كٰفِرِيۡنَ‏

 

Yaa-auy-yo-hul-la-zee-na-aa-ma-noo                                                                                              In-to-tee-oo-fa-re-qun-may-nul-la-ze-na-oo-too-kay-taa-ba                                                       Yo-rud-do-koom-bau-da-ee-maa-nay-koom                                                                                  Kaa-fay-ree-n

 

Listen, you all who have believed!                                                                                         If you follow a group of those who were given the Book                                      They will turn you back after your Belief                                                                            To the state of being disbelievers.

 

The Holy Qor-aan has used the Phrase Yaa-auy-yo-hul-la-zee-na-aa-ma-noo many times

  • يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; hearken; pay attention; O!)
  • اَيُّهَا — Auy-yo-ha(ul) — You all (= All addressees; entire audience; whole lot of listeners)
  • ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Those articles, things or persons
  • اٰمَنُوۡۤ — Aa-ma-noo — They Believed (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Believed in the Holy Qor-aan; became Moslems. Accepted, acknowledged, admitted or witnessed their entry in Iss-laam.   • اِنۡ —  In –If (= In case; under the circumstances; when; when situation arises; whenever)
  • تُطِيۡعُوۡا — To-tee-oo — You follow (= v., Intentionally or voluntarily carry out instructions, copy, duplicate; imitate, immolate, obey, or yield to)
  • فَرِيۡقًا —  Fa-ree-qun — A group (= Division; faction; a little of; part; portion; section; selection; share; some only of a whole lot. A/t/a, Accomplices; association; a number of; band; class; clique; company)
  • مِنَ — May-n …  (ul) — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category or several articles, counts, kind, things, persons or phenomenon)
  • ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. All those articles, things or persons)
  • اُوۡتُوا — Oo-too…(l) — Were given (= v., past., Awarded; bestowed; conferred; entrusted; gifted; granted made responsible for)
  • الۡكِتٰبَ — Ul-Kay-taa-ba — The Book (= 1. The Divine Directive of Commands, Prohibitions, Rules and Regulations. Earlier scriptures. Perfect Book. Testament that holds good and is operative eternally. Decreed part of a religion. Spiritual Code codifying the rules of universal application.  2. The Collection of mandated, ordered, prescribed, preserved, recorded, written Do’s and Don’ts.  3. Authentic penned down material in black and white)
  •  يَرُدُّ وۡ — Yo-rud-do — Turn back (= v., pres., Arbitrarily, compulsorily or forcibly pushed to  betray, defect, desert, get out, recant, renounce, return, reverse, revert or turn back. Convert into a renegade. Turn over or into a turn-coat. A/t/a, ‘Rob you of your faith and lead you back to unbelief,’  ‘Turn you away as renegades’)
  • كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You . The Holy Qor-aan states  that way when addressing both men and women jointly)
  • بَعۡدَ — Bau-da — After (= Afterwards; subsequent to; succeeding)
  • اِيۡمَانِ — Ee-maa-nay — Belief (= n., Affirmation; behest of Faith; belief; oath; solemn   declaration; total confidence; trust. A/t/a, pledge; promise; vow. Also, a swear when NOT used as a word of a bad language, blaspheme, curse or cuss)
  • كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You . See  كُمۡ  above)
  • كٰفِرِيۡنَ‏ — Kaa-fay-ree-n — Disbelievers (= n. Those people who … 1. Deny, disbelieve, refuse or reject faith or belief in Allah, the Holy Qor-aan and Islaam by becoming Moslem.  2. Fail to appreciate, thank and gratefully utilize God’s blessings and     opportunities provided to them; act ungratefully.  3. Are or become heretics, infidels, resistors to God or unbelievers)
