اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ يَعۡلَمُ اللّٰهُ مَا فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ  فَاَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَعِظۡهُمۡ وَقُلْ لَّهُمۡ فِىۡۤ اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ قَوۡلًاۢ بَلِيۡغًا‏

 

O-laa-aiy-kul-la-ze-na-yau-la-mool-laa-ho                                                                                      Maa-fee-qo-loo-bay-hoom                                                                                                                    Fa-au-riz-un-hoom-wa-is-hoom-wa-qool-la-hoom                                                                        Fee-un-fo-say-him-qao-lun-ba-le-ghaa

 

All these people are those whom Allah knows                                                            What is in their hearts.                                                                                                              So you ignore their doings and advise them and say to them                      Regarding themselves a word really reaching into the heart

                    

  • اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ — O-laa-aiy-ka(ul) — All these (= Acts, facts, items, persons or things. A/t/a, ‘those men,’ ‘these are they,’ ‘those are they’ and ‘It is they’)
  • ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-zee-na — Those whom (= pl., m, 3rd person. Refers to those in masculine gender that include all articles, things, persons or phenomenon)
  • يَعۡلَمُ — Yau-la-mo(ol) — Knows (= v., pres. s., 3rd person. Is aware. Has the information and knowledge. A/t/a, ‘knows’ and ‘knoweth’)
  • اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • مَاۤ — Maa — What (= All that; whatever; whatsoever)
  • فِىۡ — Fee — In (= About; concerning; in reference, regarding, relative to. Amidst. Among. Contained or inside a duration, event, place, period, person, phenomenon, situation, thing or time.. See Note at 002:028)
  • قُلُوۡبِ — Qo-loo-bay — Hearts (= n., pl., Refers to the ability to think, choose, decide and  act in an appropriate manner physically and spiritually. Mind. Inner soul. Understanding. Actually the central organ inside the chest of all living creatures that keeps up the supply of blood to every tissue by pumping blood constantly through veins and controls the body parts and directs all their functions. A/t/a, ‘secrets of  whose hearts,’ ‘designs’ and ‘secret thoughts of these men’)
  • هِمۡ — Him — Their (= pro., pl., m., 3 rd person. Them; their; those)
  • فَ — Fa — Then (= At the end, consequently, finally, hence, in conclusion, resultantly so, thereafter, therefore thus)
  • اَعۡرِضۡ — Au-riz — Ignore (= v., pres., s., 2nd person. Avoid; side-step; turn away; withdraw. A/t/a, ‘keep clear,’ ‘oppose,’ ‘forbear,’ ‘turn aside,’ ‘turn away,’ ‘disregard … doings’ and ‘Let them be’)
  • عَن — Un —  From (= About; concerning; regarding; relative to)
  • هُمۡ‌ — Hoom –Them (= pro., pl., m., 3 rd person. Them; their; those)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)

— One author [njd] has translated the next 11 words as ‘sternly rebuke them’ —

  • عِظۡ –Is — Advise (= v., pres., s., 2nd person., Counsel, direct, impress, let know, notify, recommend, talk, tell or make aware. Also, command, direct, exhort, give, guide, instruct guide, instruct, help, lay out, lay down, mandate, order, preach, prescribe, recommend, show, tell or urge administratively or authoritatively as to what is the  correct course, linier lines, proper path or right road)

  • بَلِيۡغًا‏ — Ba-le-ghaa — Really reaching (= Convincing; effective; elaborate; eloquent; expansive; extensive; making one understand the importance; results oriented. A/t/a, ‘To reach their very souls,’ ‘plain terms,’ ‘effectively’ and ‘in a way to revive their conscience’)

فَكَيۡفَ اِذَاۤ اَصَابَتۡهُمۡ مُّصِيۡبَةٌ ۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ  ثُمَّ جَآءُوۡكَ يَحۡلِفُوۡنَ‌ۖ  بِاللّٰهِ اِنۡ اَرَدۡنَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اِحۡسَانًـا وَّتَوۡفِيۡقًا‏

 

Fa  kai-fa  ezaa  aa-saa-but  hoom  mo-se-ba-toon                                                                          Bay maa  qud-da-mut  aiy-de  him  thoom-ma                                                                                Ja-oo  ka  yauh-lay-foo-na  bay  il-laa-hay                                                                                      In  aa-rud  naa  il-la  eh-saa-nun  wa  tao-fe-qaa

 

So how is that when a misfortune struck them                                                                Due to what their hands had forwarded, then                                                                   They came to you swearing with Allah,                                                                          “Surely we intended nothing but kindness and conciliation.”                                  

 

فَ — Fa — So (= After all this, at the end, finally, hence, in conclusion, resultantly so, then; thereafter, therefore or thus. A/t/a, ‘but’)

كَيۡفَ — Kai-fa — How is it (= How would it be, do or fare? What would it look? In what fashion, manner, method or way? Think of the time, event, occasion, opportunity or time. A/t/a, ‘How then’  and ‘how is it’)

  • اِذَاۤ — Ezaa —  When (= Any time or event; now that; when; whenever. A/t/a, ‘if’)
  • اَصَابَتۡ — aa-saa-but — Struck (= v., past., f., 3rd person, Affected; afflicted; arrived; befell; came to; got hold of; landed upon; overtook; reached; smote; smut; struck. A/t/a verbs like (1) caught, overcome, overtaken, smitten or seized ‘by’ are in the passive voice when the Holy Qor-aan has described the event in the active voice, and (2) ‘befalls’ and ‘afflicts’ are in in the present tense when the Holy Qor-aan has stated the event in the past tense)
  • هُمۡ‌ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3 rd person. They; them; their)
  • مُّصِيۡبَةٌ — Mo-see-ba-toon — Misfortune (= n., s., Adversity; affliction; bad luck; calamity; catastrophe; difficult situation; disaster; hardship; loss; inconvenience; misfortune, severe problem; tribulation; trouble)
  • بِمَا — Bay-maa — Because of (= Combination of two words. بِ  means ‘with / in’ and  مَاۤ   means ‘all that, whatever, whatsoever or whenever.’  The combination  بِمَا  (bay-maa) means ‘because of; on account of; for the reason; due to; with / in all that.  A/t/a, ‘Because of the deeds,’ ‘because of,’ ‘as a consequence of’ and ‘on account of’)
  • قَدَّمَتۡ — Qud-da-mut — Forwarded (= v., past, s., 3rd person, Advanced; brought; forwarded; produced; recorded, saved, stored or sent ahead for committing the evil that should have been avoided OR  omitting to do the good that should have been done to get credit. A/t/a, ‘sent forth,’ ‘sent before,’ ‘sent before (them),’ ‘have sent on before’ and ‘committed’)
  • اَيۡدِيۡ — Ai-dee — Both hands (= n., 2pl., The terminal part of arm below the wrist; their  own hands. In Arabic the expression refers to things which are ahead, before, in front, in future, imminently about to occur, in immediate presence or right in front of them. A/t/a ‘hands,’ ‘own hands,’ ‘own conduct,’ ‘own misdoings’ and ‘doings’)
  • هِمۡ — Him — Their (= pro., pl., m., 3 rd person. They; them; theirs)
  • ثُمَّ — Thoom-ma — Then (= After that; further more; subsequently; thereafter)
  • جَآءُو — Jaa-oo — Came (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Arrived; reached; returned.  Also, the word can mean achieved, brought, delivered, settled, sought or succeeded; ‘would come.’ A/t/a, ‘they come to’ but such  translation of a verb in the present tense is not of what  the Holy Qor-aan has stated it in the past tense )
  • كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. You single male. The addressee of this divine message is initially the Holy Prophet s.a.w and secondarily every Moslem, in fact every  human being. See the Note under 002:005)
  • يَحۡلِفُوۡنَ‌ — Yauh-lay-foo-na — Swearing (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Affirming on something holy; declaring by invoking a sacred person or phenomenon; stating solemnly; taking oath)
  • بِ — Bay  … (il) — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with)
  • اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • اِنۡ — In — Surely (= Absolutely; certainly; definitely; positively; verily)

  • نَآ — Naa — We (= pro., pl., 1st person. Us. A/t/a, ‘they’ [mmp, njd] but how could eminent authors like M Marmaduke Pickthall and N J Dawood translate into ‘they’ the word  نَآ  which means We or Us is totally beyond us)
  • اِلَّا — Il-laa — Except (= Apart from; but; besides; excluding; save; unless. A/t/a, ‘no more than,’ ‘naught but’ and ‘nothing but’)
  • اِحۡسَانًا — Eh-saa-nun … (w) — In kindness (= adv., In amity benevolence, compassion, consideration, decency, excellence, gentleness, generosity, goodness, gratitude, helpfulness, honesty, kindheartedness, kindness, nicely, nicety, righteousness, thoughtfulness,  sympathy or virtue. وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡا اِلٰى مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ وَاِلَى الرَّسُوۡلِ رَاَيۡتَ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ يَصُدُّوۡنَ عَنۡكَ صُدُوۡدًا‌ ۚ‏

 

Wa-ezaa-qee-la-la-hoom-ta-aa-lao-elaa                                                                                          Maa-un-za-laul-laa-ho-wa-elur-ra-soo-lay                                                                                      Ra-aye-tul-mo-naa-fay-qee-na                                                                                                          Ya-sood-do-na-un-ka-so-do-daa

 

And when said to them, “Come to                                                                                          What Allah has sent down and to the Messenger,”                                                          You saw the hypocrites                                                                                                            Turn away from you a total turning

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيۡنَ يَزۡعُمُوۡنَ اَنَّهُمۡ اٰمَنُوۡا بِمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكَ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكَ   يُرِيۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ يَّتَحَاكَمُوۡۤا اِلَى الطَّاغُوۡتِ وَقَدۡ اُمِرُوۡۤا اَنۡ يَّكۡفُرُوۡا بِهٖ ؕ  وَيُرِيۡدُ الشَّيۡـطٰنُ اَنۡ يُّضِلَّهُمۡ ضَلٰلًاۢ بَعِيۡدًا‏

 

Aa-lum-ta-ra-aiy-lul-la-zee-na-yuz-o-moo-na-un-na-hoom-aa-ma-noo                                  Bay-maa-oon-zay-la-elai-ka-wa-maa-oon-zay-la-min-qub-lay-ka                                          Yo-re-do-na-un-ya-ta-haa-ka-moo-elut-taa-ghoo-tay                                                                Wa-qud-o-may-roo-un-yuk-fo-roo-bay-he                                                                                      Wa-yo-re-doosh-shai-ta-no-un-yo-dzil-la-hoom-dza-laa-lun-ba-ee-daa

 

Why don’t you look at those who make out that they surely believed                    In all that was entrusted to you and all that was entrusted before you?                They seek that they refer the decision-making to the Devil                                      And they were ordered that they reject him.                                                              And the Satan intends to mislead them — leading astray far away.

  • الشَّيۡـطٰنُ – Shai-taa-no — The Satan (= n., s., A bad, evil or false deity, friend, leader or Satanic companion. The devil. The Evil Embodiment. The evil One. The evil spirited person. The evil personified. Polytheist. Rebellious ringleader. Also, a hypocrite)

○ ‏مُتَّكِــِٕيۡنَ عَلٰى رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٍ وَّعَبۡقَرِىٍّ حِسَانٍ‌ ۚ ○‏  فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏○  تَبٰـرَكَ اسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى الۡجَـلٰلِ وَالۡاِكۡرَامِ

 

  1. Moot-ta-kay-ee-na-slaa-ruf-ra-rin-khooz-rin-wa-ub-qa-re-yin-he-saa-n
  2. Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n

Moot-ta-kay-ee-na-slaa-ruf-ra-rin-khooz-rin-wa-ub-qa-re-yin-he-saan

Reclining on green cushions and beautiful thick carpets                                  

  • مُتَّكِـــِٕيۡنَ — Moot-ta-kay-ee-na — Reclining (= n. Those sitting in the half up-right position in relaxing postures; reclining. A/t/a, ‘They will recline,’ (The owners of Paradise will be) reclining’ and ‘they shall recline’ is a translation as a verb of what the Holy Qor-aan has stated as a noun)
  • عَلٰى — Alaa — On (= Above; against; before; during; for; on; on top of; over; to; upon)
  • رَفۡرَفٍ — Ruf-ra-fin — Cushions (= n., Small square pillows with fillings of fluffy cotton, downs or wool)
  • خُضۡرٍ — Khooz-rin — Green (= Catching, pleasing and soothing eyes with green color)
  • وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; instead; more over; rather; though; when; yet; whereupon; while)
  • عَبۡقَرِىٍّ — Ub-qa-ree-yin — Thick carpets (= n., Thick mats; spreads made of mostly wool used to cover floors or ground for beauty, comfort and warmth; floor-mats crafted, knit and woven generally by hands but since the Industrialization also by machines. A/t/a,  ‘carpets,’ ‘rich carpet,’ ‘fine rich carpets’ and ‘mattresses’)
  • حِسَانٌ — Hay-saa-n — Beautiful (= adj., Excellent. A/t/a, ‘beautiful,’ ‘rich beautiful,’ ‘of beauty,’ ‘of lovely beauty’ and ‘fair’)

○ فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏

So with which blessings of God of you two can you both deny

  1. Fe-hin-na-khai-raa-toon-hay-saa-n
  2. Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n

  • ]مَّقۡصُوۡرٰتٌ — Muq-soo-raa-toon — Modest (= n., pl., Beautiful. Females who are modest by limiting, restraining and restricting their eyes from roving all around with lusty looks of perverts. A/t/a, ‘restrained (as to Their glances),’ ‘confined,’ ‘guarded in,’ ‘guarded,’ ‘close-guarded’ and ‘sheltered’)
  • فِى — F…(il) — Inside (= Amidst, among, contained or inside. See  فِىۡ  above)
  • الۡخِيَامِ‌ — (I)l-khay-yaa-m The tents (= n., pl., Covered pavilions; areas protected from the  scorching heat of the desert sun; shaded places.   1. Wa-min-doo-nay-hay-maa-jun-na-taa-n
  2. Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n

  7. In those two are fruits and dates and pomegranate
  8. So with which blessings of God of you two can you both deny

  • هَآمَّتٰنِ — Haam-ma-taa-n — Dark greenery of both (= n., Trees so thickly green that they turn below them very dark. Foliage; leaves; vegetation. A/t/a, ‘Dark-green in colour (From plentiful watering,’ ‘inclining to blackness,’ ‘Dark green (in colour),’ ‘dark green’ and ‘of darkest green’)

  • قٰصِرٰتُ — Qaa-say-raa-to  Restricted      (= n., pl., The phrase قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرۡفِ consists of two words which jointly are best translated as modest maidens or females who limit, restrain and restrict their eyes from roving all around with the lusty looks of perverts. Singly the word means anything of feminine gender that checks, controls or confines itself from wandering all around. A/t/a, ‘those restraining,’ ‘those of modest gaze,’ ‘(Maidens) chaste, restraining their glances,’ ‘chaste maidens restraining their,’ ‘chaste  maidens’ [mzk], ‘chaste maidens of modest gaze,’ ‘(chaste and modest) maidens restraining their glances (to look at them only) whom (in this state),’ ‘chaste females (wives) restraining their glances, desiring none  except their husbands’ and ‘bashful virgins’)
  • الطَّرۡفِۙ — Tur-fay — Eye-sight (= n., Eyes; gazes; looks. A/t/a, ‘modest gaze’ and ‘glances’

    The following words are also in verse 055:075

  • لَمۡ — Lum — Not (= Absolutely never; no, not at all)
  • يَطۡمِثۡ — Yut-mith — Touching (= v., pres., m., 3rd person. Affecting; embracing; hugging impacting; influencing; involving; shaping; A/t/a, ‘will have touched,’ ‘touched’ and ‘untouched’ are translations as verbs in the past tense of what the Holy Qor-aan has described as a verb in the present tense)

هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِىۡ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ‌ۘ‏  ○  يَطُوۡفُوۡنَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيۡمٍ اٰنٍ ۚ ○  ‏ فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏○ وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ جَنَّتٰنِ○    فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۙ‏ ○      ذَوَاتَاۤ اَفۡنَانٍ  ۚ ○  ‏     فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏ ○  ‏

 

  1. Haa-zay-he-ja-hun-na-mool-la-tee-yo-kuz-zay-bat-hul-mooj-ray-moo-n
  2. Ya-too-foo-na-bai-na-haa-wa-bai-na-ha-me-min-aan
  3. Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n
  4. Wa-lay-mun-khaa-fa-ma-qaa-ma-rub-bay-he-jun-na-taa-n
  5. Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n
  6. Za-waa-taa-uf-naa-nin

The Holy Qor-aan       055:044

هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِىۡ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ‌ۘ‏ۚ

Haa-zay-he-ja-hun-na-mool-la-tee-yo-kuz-zay-bat-hul-mooj-ray-moo-n

This is the Hell that with which the wrongdoers will deny

  • هٰذِهِ — Ha-zay-he –This (= This particularly pointed out; present right here; what is in front of you. A/t/a, ‘And they will be told’ and ‘will be told: This is’)
  •  جَهَنَّمُ – Ja-hun-na-mo(ola) — Hell (= Blazing Fire. Purgatory; Gehanna; hell-fire. Also, the hellish life in this world)
  • ٱلَّتِى — Ul-la-tee — That (= s., f., 3rd person article, thing or person; she; that; who)
  • يُكَذِّبُ — Yo-kuz-zay-bo — Deny (= v., pres.,  3rd person. Act or behave hypocritically; belie;  disbelieve; disclaim; fail to accept the truth; falsify; lie; misstate; practice hypocrisy, refuse to accept the truth;  reject; renounce; repudiate. Correct translation is ‘deny.’ Inaccurate translations are ‘cried lies,’ ‘denied’ and ‘disbelieved’ of a verb in the past tense when the Holy Qor-aan has used it in the present tense)
  • بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with)
  • هَا — Ha…(ul) — Which (= pro., s., f., 3rd person., Refers to aforesaid hell)
  • الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ Mooj-ray-moo-n — Wrongdoers (= n., pl., Convicts; criminals; sinners. A/t/a, ‘The guilty,’ ‘(polytheists, criminals, sinners’ and ‘sinners’)

يَطُوۡفُوۡنَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيۡمٍ اٰنٍ‌    

Ya-too-foo-na-bai-na-haa-wa-bai-na-ha-me-min-aan

  • يَطُوۡفُوۡنَ —  Ya-too-foo-na — Go round in circles (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Go backwards and forwards; go round and round. A/t/a, ‘Will they wander around,’  ‘They will wander around,’ ‘they shall wander,’ ‘Round about shall they go,’ ‘will they go around,’ ‘They will take turns (restlessly),’ ‘go circling around’ and ‘go between’)
  • بَيۡنَ — Bai-na — Between (= A/t/a, among; betwixt. A/t/a, ‘amidst’ and ‘midst’)
  • هَا — Ha — It (= pr., Refers to the Hell mentioned in the previous verse)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
  • بَيۡنَ — Bai-na — Between (=A/t/a, ‘amidst’ and ‘midst’)
  • حَمِيۡمٍ — Ha-me-min — Boiling water (= n. Extremely hot drink. A/t/a, ‘fierce boiling,’ ‘hot boiling,’ ‘boiling hot’ and ‘fiercely seething’)
  • اٰنٍ — Aa-n — Spring of water (= n., Cascade; fountain; jet; source; spout. A/t/a, ‘water’    and ‘liquid’)

○ فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ‏

Fa-bay-auy-yay-aa-laa-aiy-rub-bay-ko-maa-to-kuz-zay-baa-n

So with which blessings of God of you two can you both deny

  • فَ — Fa — So (= Hence; then; thus; at the end; in conclusion; in the final analysis; consequently; finally; resultantly; therefore)
  • بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word  بِ  means ‘with’)
  • اَىِّ — Auy-yay — Which (= What. A/t/a, ‘Which is it’)
  • اٰلَاۤءِ — Aa-laa-aiy — Blessings (= n., pl., Donations; gifts; grants; favors; freebees; handouts. A/t/a, ‘bounties,’ ‘benefactions’ and ‘favours’)
  • رَبِّ — Rub-bay — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we  and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
  • كُمَا — Ko-maa — You two ** (= pro., 2pl., m., 2nd person. You both or twain. You two  bands, bunches, cliques, cults or groups.. Reference is to the bodies of men and jinn. A/t/a, ‘your’ [several authors], ‘you twain (jinn and men)’ and ‘you twain (believers and disbelievers).’ See Note 055:014)
  • تُكَذِّبٰنِ — To-kuz-zay-baa-n — You both can deny (= v., 2pl., 2nd person. Belie; contradict; decline; disagree; disapprove; discredit; disprove; rebuff; refuse; turn down. A/t/a, ‘will ye deny,’ ‘will you deny,’ ‘ye twain, O men and jinn, deny,’ ‘will you twain deny, O men and Jinn,’ ‘will you both (jinn and men) deny,’ ‘would you deny’ and ‘that ye deny’)

وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ جَنَّتٰنِ‌‏ 

Wa-lay-mun-khaa-fa-ma-qaa-ma-rub-bay-h-jun-na-taa-n

A/t/a, ‘The time when they will Stand before (the Judgment Seat Of),’ ‘majesty’ and ‘(the time) when they will stand before (the judgment seat of … (to account for their deeds).’  But ‘to stand before’ and ‘to be stood before’ is the translation as a verb of what the Holy Qor-aan has described as a noun)
  • رَبِّ — Rub-bay — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we  and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
  • هٖ —  He — His (= pro., m., s., 2nd person. He; him; his. But inaccurate translations are ‘their’ in the plural although the Holy Qor-aan has used this pronoun as a singular, and ‘your’ although the Holy Qor-aan has used this pronoun for the 3rd person)
  • جَنَّتٰنِ — Jun-na-taa-nay — Two Gardens (= n., Heavens. A/t/a, ‘two Gardens,’ ‘two Gardens (of bliss here and the Hereafter)’ and ‘two gardens (i.e. in Paradise).
