Prayers for Health
A prayer is a special way to beg for results from the Almighty God. It is not man’s order to Him to give what is asked. Beseeching Him is the most productive way for results.
- The Holy Qor-aan — سُوۡرَةُ البَقَرَة – Ch: 002, Verse 187
اُجِيۡبُ دَعۡوَةَ الدَّاعِ اِذَا دَعَانِ فَلۡيَسۡتَجِيۡبُوۡا لِىۡ وَلۡيُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِىۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡشُدُوۡنَ
O-jee-bo dau-wa-tud-day ezaa da-aa-nay Ful yus-ta-jee-boo lee wul-yoe-may-noo be La ul-la hoom our-sho-doo-n.

- The Holy Qor-aan — سُوۡرَةُ الشُّعَرَاء – Ch:026, Verses 078 to 083
فَإِنَّہُمۡ عَدُوٌّ۬ لِّىٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (78) ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَنِى فَهُوَ يَہۡدِينِ (79) وَٱلَّذِى هُوَ يُطۡعِمُنِى وَيَسۡقِينِ (80) وَإِذَا مَرِضۡتُ فَهُوَ يَشۡفِينِ (81) وَٱلَّذِى يُمِيتُنِى ثُمَّ يُحۡيِينِ (82) وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لِى خَطِيٓـَٔتِى يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ (83)

فَاِنَّهُمۡ عَدُوٌّ لِّىۡۤ اِلَّا رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙۙ
الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَنِىۡ فَهُوَ يَهۡدِيۡنِ ۙ
ۙ وَ الَّذِىۡ هُوَ يُطۡعِمُنِىۡ وَيَسۡقِيۡن
ۙ وَاِذَا مَرِضۡتُ فَهُوَ يَشۡفِيۡنِ
ۙ وَالَّذِىۡ يُمِيۡتُنِىۡ ثُمَّ يُحۡيِيۡنِ
وَالَّذِىۡۤ اَطۡمَعُ اَنۡ يَّغۡفِرَ لِىۡ خَطِٓیْــَٔـتِىۡ يَوۡمَ الدِّيۡنِ ؕ
Fa in-na hoom aa-do-woon lee il-laa rub-bul aa-la-mee-n Ul-la-zee kha-la-qa nee fa ho-wa yah-dee-nay Wul-la-zee ho-wa yoot-aiy-mo nee wa yus-qee-nay Wa ezaa ma-ridz-to fa ho-wa yush-fee-nay Wul-la-zee yo-me-to nee thoom-ma yoh-yee-nay Wul-la-zee ut-ma-o un yugh-fay-ra lee kha-tee-aa-tee yao mud-dee-n
So, they surely are my enemies except the Lord Provident of the Universe. He Who created me. Then He Alone guides me. And He Who alone feeds me and gives me water to drink. And when I fall sick He cures me. And He Who Alone brings me death. Then gives me life again. - The Holy Qor-aan — سُوۡرَةُ النَّمل Ch:027, Verse 063
اَمَّنۡ يُّجِيۡبُ الۡمُضۡطَرَّ اِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكۡشِفُ السُّوۡٓءَ وَيَجۡعَلُكُمۡ خُلَفَآءَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ ءَاِلٰـهٌ مَّعَ اللّٰهِ ؕ قَلِيۡلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ
Um-mun yo-jee-bool moodz-tur-ra ezaa da-aa-ho Wa yuk-shay-foos soo-aa wa yuj-aa-lo koom kho-la-faa ul-ur-dzay Aa elaa-hoon ma-ul-laa-hay qa-le-lun maa ta-zuk-ka-roo-n
Who answers the troubled when he prays Him And takes away the bad and makes you His representative on earth. Is there a GOD along with Allah? How little is that you remember.

Bis-mil-laa hish-shaa-fee Bis-mil-laa hil-kaa-fee Bis-mil-laa Hil-gha-foo-roor ra-hee-m Bis-mil-laa hl-bur-ril ka-ree-m Yaa ha-fee-zo Yaa-azee-zo Yaa-ra-fee-qo Yaa-wa-lee Ush-fay Un-tush-shaa-fee Laa-sha-faa-o-ka Sha-faa-un kaa-may-lun aa-jay-lun laa yo-ghaa-day-ro sa-qa-maa
With the name of All-curer With the name of All-Sufficient With the name of the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful With the name of the Most Generous, Most Kind O God Protector O God Almighty O My Friend O My Helper Please Cure. You are the Curer. No cure is there except the cure from You Grant the cure that is total, fast, leaves behind no trace of the sickness.

اذهب البعث رب الناس اشفع انت الشافى لا شفاء الا شفاء ك شفاء لا يغادر سقما
Uz-hay-bil bau-tha rub-bin-naa-say ush-fae un-tush-shaa-fi Laa sha-faa-aa il-laa sha-faa-o-ka sha-faa-un laa yo-ghaa-day-ro sa-qa-maa
Dear God of all, please take away this illness. Please cure. You are the Curer. No cure is there except Your cure – the cure that leaves no trace of illness.

اقبال کو بڑھانا اب فضل لۓ کے آنا
ہر رنج سے بچانا دکھ درد سے چھڑانا
خود میرے کام کرنا يا رب نہ آزمانا

Iq-baal ko bur-haa-naa Ub uzl lay kay aa-naa Hur runj say ba-chaa-naa Dookh durd say cho-raa-naa Khood may ray kaam kur-naa Yaa rub nah aaz-maa-naa Yeh roz kur mo-baa-ruk Soob haa-na mun ya-raa-ni
Raise high all our grades Show us now Your graces Save us from all griefs Keep out grooms and pain Do for me all my deeds Try us not my dear GOD Bless this day for me Holy are You Who sees me
میری دعاءيں ساری کریو قبول باری
میں جاءوں تیرے واری کر تو مدد ہماری
ہم تیرے در پہ آۓ لے کے امید بہاری
یہ روز کر مبارک سبحان من یرانی
May-ree do-aa-aiyn saa-ree Kur-yo qa-bool baa-ree Maiyn jaa-oo-n tay-ray waa-ree Kur too ma.dud ha-maa-tee Hum tay-ray dur peh aa-aiy Lay kay o-mee-d bhaa-ree Yeh roz kur mo-baa-ruk Soob haa-na mun ya-raa-ni
All of these my prayers Please God, accept them all For you I lay my life Please You help us all On your door we’ve come With our hopes very High Bless this day for me Holy are You Who sees me
Suggestion: Asking another person is ok but praying for self is best for real results. Praying for another person is one of the best ways for their acceptance relative to one’s own self. One or more of the above prayers can be offered. Persistence in praying is of prime importance.
