The Holy Qor-aan 002-009
.
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ يَّقُوۡلُ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَبِالۡيَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَمَا هُمۡ بِمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَۘ
.
Wa-may-nun-naa-say-mun-ya-qoo-lo Aa-mun-naa-bil-laa-hay-wa-bil-yao-mil-aa-khay-ray- Wa-maa-hoom-bay-mo-may-nee-n.

And among the people are who say, “We have believed in Allah and the Hereafter.” And really they are not with the believers.
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases or clauses; also; but; additionally; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- مِنَ — May-na…(un) — Among (= From the class, category, count, kind, persons or out of)
- النَّاسِ — Naa-say — The people (= Folks; human beings; mankind)
- مَنۡ — Mun — Who (= Anyone; whoever; whosoever)
- يَّقُوۡلُ — Ya-qoo-lo — Say (= Announce; broadcast; convey; declare; profess; state)
- اٰمَنَّا — Aa-mun-na — We believed (= v., past., pl., 1st person. We have sincerely believed in the Holy Qor-aan, accepted Islam and turned Moslem. For more meanings see Commentary Believe and Disbelieve)
- بِ — B…(il) — In (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’. Sometimes its English ‘in’ is equally accurate, especially when used with Allah’s name, as is the case here)
- اللّٰهِ — (L)aa-hay — Allah — (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases or clauses; also; but; additionally; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- بِ — B…(il) — In (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’. Sometimes its English translation as ‘in’ is also accurate as is here)
- الۡيَوۡمِ — Yao-m…(il) — Day (= End of a period, term or time; juncture)
- الۡاٰخِرِ — Aa-khay-ray — The Hereafter (= Coming; last; later; Judgment Day; Resurrection)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases. See وَ above)
- مَاۤ — Maa — Not at all (= Absolutely not; no; never)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — They (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to the people)
- بِ — Bay — With (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’)
- مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ — Mo-may-neen — Believers (= n. The Faithful who have believed in the Holy Qor-aan, The Islaam and become Moslems. See اٰمَنَّا above)
