The Holy Qor-aan 004:067
وَلَوۡ اَنَّا كَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ اَنِ اقۡتُلُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَكُمۡ اَوِ اخۡرُجُوۡا مِنۡ دِيَارِكُمۡ مَّا فَعَلُوۡهُ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ ؕ وَلَوۡ اَنَّهُمۡ فَعَلُوۡا مَا يُوۡعَظُوۡنَ بِهٖ لَـكَانَ خَيۡرًا لَّهُمۡ وَاَشَدَّ تَثۡبِيۡتًا ۙ
Wa lao aun-naa ka-taub-naa aa-lai him
Aa-nay iq-to-loo aun-fo-sa koom
Aa-way ikh-ro-joo min day-yaa-ray koom
Maa fa-aa-loo ho il-laa qa-le-loon m-min hoom
Wa lao aun-na hoom fa-aa-loo maa yoo-aa-zoo-na bay he
La kaa-na khai-raun la hoom wa aa-shaud-da tauth-be-taa
And surely if We enjoined upon them
That “You lay down your lives
Or get out from your homes
They would not have done it except a small number of them.
And if they had done with what they were instructed
That surely would have been best for them and stronger in toughness.”
