The Holy Qor-aan 007:126
قَالُـوۡۤا اِنَّاۤ اِلٰى رَبِّنَا مُنۡقَلِبُوۡنَۚ
Qaa-loo in-naa aiy-laa raub-bay naa moon-qa-lay-boo-n
They said, “We surely are returnees to our Lord.”
- قَا لُوۡا — Qaa-loo — They said (= v., past, pl., m., 3rdperson: All those men announced, called, declared or told. See Note 112:002. A/t/a, ‘They said,’ ‘They answered: what then? In any case,’ ‘They answered,’ ‘They replied’ and ‘They (however, remained firm and) said’)
- اِنَّا — In-naa — Surely we (= Combines two words. اِنَّ means ‘certainly, definitely, surely or verily. And نَآ means all of us. Joined together the word اِنَّا (in-naa) combines both meanings. A/t/a, ‘For us,’ ‘surely,’ ‘(Never mind), ‘we,’ ‘‘Lo!,’ ’We … surely’ and ‘verily’)
- اِلَى — Aiy-laa — To (= In the direction of; to; towards. A/t/a, ‘to’ and ‘Unto’)
- رَبِّ — Raub-bay — GOD / LORD (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Lord Provident; Master. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist. A/t/a, ‘Lord’)
- نَآ — Naa — Our (= pro., pl., 1st person. Our; Us)
- مُنۡقَلِبُوۡنَ — Moon-qa-lay-boo-n — Returnees (= n., pl., Those who turn back, return or revert. A/t/a, ‘but sent back,’ ‘do … return,’ ‘shall … return,’ ‘then shall … return,’ ‘about to return,’ ‘have all to return to … after all’ and ‘are returning’ but all those verbs are no translations of the noun in the Holy Qor-aan text)
