The Holy Qor-aan                                         082:005                                           ○  وَاِذَا الۡقُبُوۡرُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ ۙ

                 Wa-ezul-qo-boo-ro-boe-thay-rut

  • بُعۡثِرَتۡ — Boe-thay-rut — Dug out (= Exposed, exhumed, laid open or opened to hurl out their contents, or turned upside down)

Note 082:005. Translators have described this verse as a prophecy to be filled only in the future. They have used the opening of the tombs of ancient Egyptian kings as a fulfillment of a prophecy. But everything in the future to some becomes a thing of the past to some others who come later. Other examples of the continued applicability of this verse have been and will keep on occurring. Our commentary ‘Holy Qor-aan – Examples illustrating its Content’ enumerated several incidents. Recent changes in the laws and customs in Pakistan have produced a string of similar happenings. The graves of many decedents were opened up, turned upside down, and their remains removed. The excuses used were said changes which disentitled an Ahmadi from remaining buried in there. It is not at all difficult to imagine the pain suffered by the near and dear of those gone long ago. How will Moslems feel if Christian or Jewish cemeteries dug out every Moslem buried in there? The protesting uproar even if peaceful would rock the world.
