he Holy Qor-aan                                           082:007                     ○ يٰۤاَيُّهَا الۡاِنۡسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الۡكَرِيۡمِ ۙ‏

                Yaa-auy-yo-hul-in-saa-no-maa-ghur-ra-ka-bay-rub-bay-kul-ka-reem

               Listen man! what beguiled you regarding your God, the Most Generous

• يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; pay attention; O!)
• اَيُّهَا — Auy-yo-h…(ul) — You (= All, entire or whole of the addressees or audience)
• الۡاِنۡسَانُ — In-saa-no — Man (= The human being; mankind; the species known as man including his feminine gender woman)
• مَاۤ — Maa — What (= Whatever; whatsoever)
• غَرّ — Ghur-ra — Beguiled (= Deceived; diverted; emboldened; enticed away; made careless; misled; seduced away)
• كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. Also, Your or Yours)
• بِ — Bay Regarding — (= The Arabic word بِ literally means ‘with’ in English. Ref here is to ‘with regard to’, concerning or relative to’)
• رَبِّ — Rub-bay — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures;
  Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
• كَ — Ka…(ul) — Your (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. Also, Your or Yours)
• الۡكَرِيۡم — Ka-reem — Generous (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most, and highlights that none more than Him is Kind and Considerate, Beneficent; Bountiful; Gracious)

The Holy Qor-aan                                        082:008                                 ○ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَكَ فَسَوّٰٮكَ فَعَدَلَـكَ ۙ‏

                  Ul-la-zee-kha-la-qa-ka-fa-suw-waa-ka-fa-ad-la-ka

                Who created you. Then He completed you. Thus He balanced you.

• ٱلَّذِي — Ul-la-zee — Who (= s., m, 3rd person. Ref is to the God Almighty)
• خَلَقَ — Kha-la-qa — He created (= Brought into being; created in due proportion; designed from a scratch out of nothing; every created thing; fashioned with the mystery of the creation; formed; gave forms and faces; produced; shaped)
• كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. Also, Your or Yours)
• فَ — Fa — Then (= Consequently; as a result; so; then; thus; therefore; yet)
• سَوّٰ — Suw-waa — Completed (= Balanced. Designed. Fashioned. Made man complete and flawless. Ordered good proportions. Perfected. Settled with harmony. Supplied suitable shapes. Well-proportioned)
• كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. Also, Your or Yours)
• فَ — Fa — Thus (= Consequently; as a result; so; then; thus; therefore; yet)
• عَدَ لَ — Aa-da-la — Balanced (= Did justice to you by —
  a) casting in best proportions,
  b) developing into perfection,
  c) giving good upright form and figure,
  d) granting great powers and prowess and
  e) turning out in excellent formation)

The Holy Qor-aan                                        082:009                             ○  فِىۡۤ اَىِّ صُوۡرَةٍ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ
   

             Fee-auy-yay-soo-ra-tim-maa-shaa-aa-ruk-ka-ba-ka

               In any form He pleased He shaped you.

• فِىۡ — Fee — In (= 1. Contained; inside; regarding; relative to)
• اَىِّ — Auy-yay — Any (= Whatever; which; whichever; which one)
• صُوۡرَةٍ — Soo-ra-tin(m) — Form (= Appearance; look; Shape)

• شَآءَ — Shaa-a — He pleased (= Chose; decided; decreed; dictated; enforced; liked; preferred; willed; wished)
• رَكَّبَ — Ruk-ka-ba — Shaped (=Assembled; put the components together; cast; created; designed; fashioned; made; molded)
• كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. Also, Your or Yours)

The Holy Qor-aan                                       082:0010                                   ○   كَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ بِالدِّيۡنِ ۙ‏

               Kul-laa-bul-to-kuz-zay-boo-na-bid-dee-n

               Yet the fact is that you deny the Judgment Day

• كَلَّا — Kul-laa — The fact (= Absolutely not; fact is; in effect; instead; like never; nay; the reality is. Combination of two Arabic words. كَ means ‘like or as if.’ لَّا means ‘not’. Joined together كَلَّا means ‘like it was not’, ‘absolutely never’, ‘no indeed’)
• بَلۡ — Ba…( ul) –Yet (= Aye; nay; but the truth is; however; instead; of course; nevertheless; on the contrary; rather; really; the fact is; truthfully; verily; yea but; yes indeed)
• تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ — To-kuz-zay-boo-na — You deny (= Disclaim, falsify, lie, misstate, rebut, refuse, reject, renounce or repudiate the Truth. Fail to accept the Truth. Behave hypocritically or practice hypocrisy)
• بِ — B…(id) — With (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’)
• الدِّيۡنِ — Dee-n — Judgment (= The End day; the last day of conclusion, recompense or requital. The day after the Faith is established)

The Holy Qor-aan                                         082:011                                       ○  وَاِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحٰـفِظِيۡنَ

                 Wa-in-na-alai-koom-la-haa-fay-zee-n

                And most certainly appointed guardians are over you

                Honorable writers

• كِرَامًا — Kay-raa-mun — Honorable (= Fair; honest; just. Also, generous; honored; noble; respected)
• كَاتِبِيۡنَ — Kaa-tay-bee-n — Writers (= Recorders or scribes who register and preserve all we do by writing it down accurately, honestly and fully)

                 Yau-la-moo-na-maa-tuf-aloon

                They know all that you do

• يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ — Yau-la-moona — They know (= v., pl., Have the information and knowledge; are aware; know the consequence of their calumny and enormity; deliberately; knowingly; with full recognition)
• مَاۤ — Maa — All that (= What; whatever; whatsoever. 2. Any time; at such time; when; whenever)
• تَفۡعَلُوۡن — Tuf-aloon — You do (= Act; deliver; perform; practice)

               Most certainly the righteous will be in bliss

                Wa-in-nul-fooj-jaa-ra-la-fee-ja-heem

               And most certainly the wicked will be in Hell

                Yus-lao-na-haa-yao-mud-dee-n

               They will enter it on the Day of Judgment

• يَّصۡلَوۡن — Yus-lao-na — They enter (= Be cast or thrown in; burn; endure; plunged in; roast; scorch; suffer the chastisement and pain)
• هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person., Refers to the aforesaid ‘hell’)
• يَوۡمَ — Yao-m…(ud) — Day (= s., A period, term or time that ends; juncture)
• الدِّيۡنِ — Ud-dee-n — Judgment (= 1. Judgment Day. The End. The last day of conclusion, recompense or requital. The day after the Faith is established. 2. The best way to live obeying God’s divine rules. Life style. The true Faith. The right religion)

                  Wa-maa-hoom-un-haa-bay-ghaa-e-bee-n

                 And they can’t be absent from it

                 Wa-maa-ud-raa-ka-maa-yao-mood-dee-n

                And who will tell you what is the Day of Judgment

                 Thoom-ma-maa-ud-raa-ka-maa-yao-mood-dee-n

                Then again, who will tell you what is the Day of Judgment

• ثُمَّ — Thoom-ma — Then again (= After that; subsequently; thereafter)
• مَاۤ — Maa — Who (= Whoso; whomever; whatever; whatsoever)
• اَدۡرٰى — Ud-raa — Tell (= Add to knowledge; convey; explain; make aware; make it known; give understanding and comprehension; inform)

يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٌ لِّنَفۡسٍ شَيۡـــًٔا‌ ؕ وَالۡاَمۡرُ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلَّهِ‏

                  Yao-ma-laa-tum-lay-ko-nuf-soon-lay-nuf-sin-shai-aa-wul-um-ro-yao-ma-e-zin-lil-laah

                That day no soul will control anything for another soul. And the decision-making that day will be for only Allah.
