The Holy Qor-aan 003:064
فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيۡمٌۢ بِالۡمُفۡسِدِيۡنَ
Fa in ta-waul-lao fa in-na ul-laa-ha aa-lee-moon bay il-moof-say-dee-n
So if you turn away, then indeed Allah knows the Corrupts.
- فَ — Fa — So (= As a result; consequently; hence; then; thereafter; therefore)
- اِنۡ — In — If (= In case; under the circumstances; when; when situation arises; whenever)
- تَوَلَّوۡاْ — Ta-waul-lao — You turn (= v., pres., pl., 2ndperson., Change or go into a different or opposite direction. Turn from one way to another. Reverse. Slide backwards. Withdraw. See Note 003:064 also. A/t/a, ‘they turn away’)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= As a result; consequently; hence; so; thereafter; therefore)
- اِنَّ — In-na … (ul) — Indeed (= Absolutely; assuredly; categorically; certainly; clearly, decidedly; definitely; doubtlessly; earnestly; for sure; positively; really; seriously; sincerely; specifically; surely; truly; verily.
- اللّٰهَ — Laa-ha — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- عَلِيۡمٌ — Aa-lee-moon — All-Knowing (= adj., superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest the most, and highlights that none more than Him know. See Note 002:033. Also: Informed to the maximum. The One with total knowledge and nothing out of sight. Knows all. Most Knowledgeable. Well-Acquainted with and Well-Aware of everything. See Note 001:001)
- بِ — Bay … (il) — With (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’)
- الۡمُفۡسِدِيۡنَ — Il-moof-say-dean — Corrupts (= n., pl., Bad, corrupt or evil creators, developers and spreaders of disorder or evil. Dissidents. Evil or those spreading evil. Law breakers. Mischief-mongers. Mischievous. Miscreants. Violators of law and order. Wicked. The people who add, cause, commit, create, multiply or spread corruption, disorder and evil)
** Note 003:064. The root with its basic underlying idea for the word تَوَلّٰى (ta-wul-laa) and تَوَلَّوۡاْ (ta-wul-lao) can have different meanings in different contexts.
- Turnaround in re a correct course, proper path or right road can mean to change, depart, detour, deviate, divert, take or reverse from, or give or pay no heed. See 002:178.
- Turnaround in re a political structure can mean to authorize, confer, delicate, entrust or obtain authority and power, or take a different, opposite or wrong direction. See 002:206.
- Turnaround in re Truth can mean to change, conceal, compromise or reverse one’s stand, fall into error, give or pay no heed, ignore, reject, or transgress. See 003:033 and 080:002.
- Turnaround in re a battle can mean to ignore instructions, reverse, rebel, run away, side-step, slide back, turn away or turn back. See 003:064 and 003:156.
- Turnaround in re an agreement, compact, compromise, covenant or pact can mean to adversely act, break, go back on, ignore, reverse, terminate or violate its terms.
