The Holy Qor-aan 003:099
قُلۡ يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡكِتٰبِ لِمَ تَكۡفُرُوۡنَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِوَاللّٰهُ شَهِيۡدٌ عَلٰى مَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ
Qool-yaa-aah-lul-kay-taa-bay Lay-ma-tuk-fo-roo-na-bay-aa-yaa-til-laa-hay Wul-laa-ho-sha-hee-doon-alaa-maa-tau-ma-loo-n
Say, “Listen the People of Book! Why do you disbelieve in Allah’s signs And by God Allah is a witness on all that you do.”

- يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; hearken; pay attention; O!)
- اَهۡلَ — Aah-la…(ul) — People of (= Believers; citizens; folks; friends; masters; owners, people; population; supporters; those belonging to; those entrusted to; users)
- الۡكِتٰبِ — Ul-Kay-taa-bay — The Book (= n., The Divine Directive of Commands, Prohibitions and Regulations. Holy Scripture. See 002:003)
- لِمَ — Lay-ma — Why (= How come; how is it; why is it)
- تَكۡفُرُوۡنَ — Tuk-fo-roo-na — You disbelieve (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. 1. Deny, disbelieve, refuse or reject faith or belief in Allah, the Holy Qor-aan and thank and gratefully utilize God’s blessings and opportunities provided to you act ungratefully. 3. Be or become heretics, infidels, resistors to God or unbelievers)
- بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ means ‘with’)
- اٰيٰتِ — Aa-yaa-tay..(il) — Signs (= pl of. Manifestation; message; narrative; revelation; verse. 2. Command; direction; evidence; law; order. 3. Corroboration; indication; lesson; portent; proof; pointer; symbol; token. 4. Every element to create the crystal clear picture leading to an absolute conviction. 5. Argument, part or portion that highlights a thing)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- وَ — Wa … (ul) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- شَهِيۡدٌ — Sha-hee-doon — Witness (= n., s., Attester, observer, onlooker, testifier, verifier, watch, watcher or witness. Adducer of proof. Bearer, giver or provider of evidence or testimony. Producer of corroboration. Also, a helper, seer or supporter. This word implies the action of giving an eye-witness whose averment is not a hearsay or less credible for being that someone else or a third party saw. ** See the Note to verse 004:070. - عَلٰى — Alaa — On (= Above; against; before; during; for; on; on top of; over; to; upon)
- مَاۤ –Maa — All that (= At any time; what; whatever; whatsoever; when; whenever)
- تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ — Tau-ma-loo-na — You do (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Act; activate; attempt; carry out; effect; exercise; execute; function; go; make out; implement; operate; perform; practice; render; serve; run-through; work-out. See Note 002:075b)
