The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                       004:046

 

  وَاللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِاَعۡدَآٮِٕكُمۡ‌ؕ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ وَلِيًّا وَّكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ نَصِيۡرًا

 

Wa  ul-laa-ho  au-la-mo  bay-au-daa-aiy  koom
Wa  ka-faa-ay  bay  il-laa-hay  wa-lee-yaun
Wa  ka-faa-ay  bay  il-laa-hay  na-se-raa

 

Allah is Well Aware of your enemies.
And Allah has sufficed as a real Friend.
 And Allah has sufficed as a real Helper.

 

  • وَ — Wa … (ul) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally;                      also; and; but; more over; though; when; while; yet)
  • اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • اَعۡلَمُ — Au-la-mo — Well Aware (= adj., To the nth degree … Aware, experienced, familiar, informed or knowing. Also, where the text indicates, as a v., pres., s., 1st person this word means I know more and best. A/t/a, ‘has full knowledge.’ But ‘knoweth best,’ ‘knows … better than you,’ ‘best knows,’ ‘knows … well’ and ‘knows full well’ are all verbs and no translations of the Holy Qor-aan text with an adj)
  • بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with. A/t/a, ‘(who are)’
  • اَعۡدَآٮِٕ — Au-daa-aiy — Enemies (= n., pl., Adversaries; foes; opponents)
  • كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You all men. Generally this way the Holy Qor-aan addresses both men and women)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
  • كَفٰى — Ka-faa — Has sufficed (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Has been adequate, ample,  appropriate, enough, plenteous, proper, satisfactory, sufficient, suitable or fully capable and in control. A/t/a, ‘you need none else’ and ‘suffices’ with verbs in the present tense are no translations of the Holy Qor-aan text with a verb in the past tense)
  • بِ  — Bay … (il) — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with)
  • اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • وَلِيًّا — Wa-lee-yaun — Real Friend (= n., Comrade. Earnest, protecting, sincere, real, true and well-wishing friend. Friend in need is a friend indeed. Guardian. Helper. Patron. Protector. Supporter. A/t/a, ‘guardian,’ ‘patron’ and ‘protector.’ But the verb in ‘to protect’ has not translated the Holy Qor-aan text with a noun)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
  • كَفٰى — Ka-faa — Has sufficed (= v., past., s., 3rd person. See كَفٰى above)
  • بِ — Bay … (il) — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with)
  • اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • نَصِيۡرًا‏ — Na-se-raa — Real Helper (= n., All-Helpful. Biggest Helper. Supportive. The One with all, total, perfect and wholesome Might to help. A/t/a, ‘to help’ but that verb has not translated the Holy Qor-aan text with a noun)
