The Holy Qor-aan 005:045
اِنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا التَّوۡرٰٮةَ فِيۡهَا هُدًى وَّنُوۡرٌ ۚ يَحۡكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّوۡنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَسۡلَمُوۡا لِلَّذِيۡنَ هَادُوۡا وَ الرَّبَّانِيُّوۡنَ وَالۡاَحۡبَارُ بِمَا اسۡتُحۡفِظُوۡا مِنۡ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ وَكَانُوۡا عَلَيۡهِ شُهَدَآءَ ۚ فَلَا تَخۡشَوُا النَّاسَ وَاخۡشَوۡنِ وَلَا تَشۡتَرُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِىۡ ثَمَنًا قَلِيۡلًا ؕ وَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَحۡكُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ
In-naa-un-zul-nut-tao-raa-fee-haa-ho-dun-wa-noo-roon Yah-ko-mo-bay-hun-na-bee-yoo-nul-la-ze-nus-la-moo Lil-la-zee-na-haa-do-wur-rub-baa-nee-yoo-na-wul-ah-baa-ro Bay-mus-toh-fay-zoo-min-kay-taa-bil-laa-hay Wa-kaa-noo-alai-hay-sho-ha-daa-aa
Fa-laa-tukh-soon-naa-sa-wukh-shao-nay Wa-laa-tush-ta-roo-bay-aa-yaa-tee-tha-ma-nun-qa-le-laa Wa-mun-lum-yah-koom-bay-maa-un-za-lul-laa-ho Fa-o-laa-aiy-ka-ho-mool-kaa-fay-roo-n
We certainly entrusted the Torah; in it Guidance and Light. With it the prophets — who had submitted — decide For those who were Jews and the Rabbis and the Scholars With what they were required to protect out of the the Book of Allah And they had been the witnesses on it.
So do not fear people but fear Me. And do not sell My signs for a paltry price. And those who do not decide with what Allah entrusted Then they all are the Disbelievers
- اِنَّا — In-naa — We certainly (= This combines two words. The first اِنۡ (in) meaning absolutely, certainly, definitely, positively, surely and verily, and the second نَآ (naa) meaning we, us, our, the word اِنَّا (in-naa) combines their meanings. - نَآ — Naa — We (= pro., m/g., pl., 1st person. Our; Us. Used with God’s name this is the authoritative way a higher-up talks)
- التَّوۡرٰٮةُ — Tao-raa-ta — The Torah (= n., The scripture entrusted to the Jews. A/t/a, ‘The Law (to Moses),’ ’Torah’ and ‘Torat (Torah [to Musa (Moses)]’ )
- فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Contained or inside a duration, event, place, period, person, situation, thing or time. See Note at 002:028)
- هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person., Refers to the aforesaid. A/t/a, ‘having,’ ‘full of,’ ‘There is.’ But many authors translated the prior word and this word as a single word as ‘therein’ and ‘wherein’)
- هُدًى — Ho-dun — Guidance (= n., Best direction; proper path; right road)
- وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases, or clauses; additionally; also; but; more over; though; when; while; yet)
- نُوۡرٌ — Noo-roon — Light (= n., Divine Light)
- يَحۡكُمُ — Yuh-ko-mo — Decides (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. Adjudicates; arbitrates; judges; settle disagreement or dispute; mandates; orders. A/t/a, ‘judge,’ ‘did judge’ and ‘judged.’ One author said ‘by its standard have been judged The Jews, by’ but that is no translation of the original verse)

- ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-zee-na … (us) — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Refers to those articles, persons, or phenomenon or things in masculine gender)
- اَسۡلَمُوۡا — Us-la-moo — Had submitted (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Agreed; surrendered. A/t/a, ‘were obedient to Us,’ ‘bowed (as in Islam) To God’s Will,’ ‘surrendered themselves to Allah,’ ‘surrendered (unto Allah),’ ‘submitted themselves (to Allah),’ ‘submitted themselves (to Us),’ ‘submitted themselves to the will of God (Mslims)’ and ‘submitted themselves to Allah’s Will’)

- الرَّبَّانِيُّوۡنَ — Rub-baa-nee-yoo-na — The rabbis (= n., Those who are knowledgeable in spiritual matters; spiritual leaders. A/t/a, ‘rabbis,’ ‘divines,’ ‘godly people’ and ‘teachers of Divine knowledge’)

- الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ — Kaa-fay-roo-n — Disbelievers (= n., pl., Deniers; disbelievers; faithless; heretics; infidels; non-believers; unbelievers. Thankless, unappreciative, and ungrateful who abuse, misuse, fail to use, gratefully acknowledge, and utilize God-given blessings, gifts, opportunities, or talents. See Believe and Disbelieve.
