The Holy Qor-aan 007:036
يٰبَنِىۡۤ اٰدَمَ اِمَّا يَاۡتِيَنَّكُمۡ رُسُلٌ مِّنۡكُمۡ يَقُصُّوۡنَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اٰيٰتِىۡۙ فَمَنِ اتَّقٰى وَاَصۡلَحَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُوۡنَ
Yaa ba-ni aa-da-ma aum-maa Yau-tay-yaun-na koom ro-so-loon min koom Ya-qoos-soo-na alai koom aa-yaa-tee Fa ma-nay it-ta-qaa wa aus-la-ha Fa laa khao-foon alai him wa laa hoom yauh-za-noo-n
Listen! Children of Adam! As far as Coming to you of messengers from among you Narrating upon you My Signs is concerned, Then whoever practiced piety and corrected himself, Then No fear upon them. And they do not grieve.

- يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; hearken; pay attention; O!)
- بَنِىۡۤ — Ba-ni — Children (= n., pl. Girls and buys. Offspring. Progeny)
- اٰدَمَ — Aa-da-ma — Adam (= The name of a Messenger / Prophet of Allah)
- اَمَّا — Um-maa — As far as (= Combination of two words. The first word اَن means ‘that.’ The second word مَا means ‘all that or whatever.’ Joined together they mean ‘whatever,’ ‘as regards’, etc. A/t/a, ‘if’ and ‘whenever’)
- يَاۡتِيَنَّ — Yau-tay-yaun-na — Coming (= v., pres., f/pl., 3rd person. Appearing; arriving. A/t/a, ‘come to,’ ‘come unto’ and ‘comes to’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men. The Holy Qor-aan has often used this word for both men and women jointly)
- رُسُلٌ — Ro-so-loon — Messengers (= n., pl., Prophets; sages; saints. A/t/a, ‘Messengers’ and ‘Apostles’)
- مِنۡ — Min — From among (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several articles, counts, kind, things, persons or phenomenon. A/t/a, ‘from among,’ ‘from amongst’ and ‘of’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person., You. See كُمۡ above. A/t/a, ‘yourselves’ and ‘your own’)
- يَقُصُّوۡنَ — Ya-qoos-soo-na– Telling (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Describing, narrating, relating, or stating an event, happening or story. A/t/a, ‘relating,’ ‘rehearsing’ and ‘reciting.’ Inaccurate translations are ‘who narrate’ and ‘to proclaim’)
- عَلَيۡ — Alai — Upon (= Above; against; for; on top of; over; to; upon. A/t/a, ‘unto’ and ‘to’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You . See كُمۡ above)
- يٰتِ — Aa-ya-tay– Signs (= n., pl of … An argument, corroboration, indication, insinuation, pointer, portent, prof, sign, suggestion, symbol or token. See Note 002:074. A/t/a, ‘Messages,’ ‘commandments,’ ‘Revelations’ and ‘Verses’)

- فَ — Fa — Then (= Consequently; so; thereafter; therefore; then; thus; yet)
- مَنِ — Ma-nay … (it ) — Whoever (= Anyone; whoever; whom; whomever; whoso. A/t/a, ‘whosoever’ and ‘those who’)
- اتَّقٰى — Ta-qaa — Was pious (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Practiced piety. Kept away from being dirty and filthy. A/t/a, although (a) present tense as in ‘guards against evil,’ ‘is mindful of his duty to Allah,’ ‘becomes pious,’ ‘that take warning,’ ‘(by accepting them) becomes secure against evil’ and ‘refraineth from evil,’ (b) the future tense as in ‘shall fear God’ and (c) nouns as in ‘is godfearing’ and ‘are righteous’ did not translate the verb in the past tense that is the original text of the Holy Qor-aan)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., It links words, phrases or clauses; also; but; additionally; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- اَصۡلَحَ — Us-la-ha — Corrected (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Ameliorated; amended; bettered. Brought about healthy, corrected, enriched, improved, and mended ways. Reorganized. Revolutionized. Set things right. Settled down. Upgraded. A/t/a, although (a) present tense as in ‘acts aright,’ ‘acts righteously,’ ‘do good deeds,’ ‘mend their ways,’ ‘amend (their lives),’ ‘amends’ and ‘amendeth,’ and (b) noun as in ‘righteous’ did not translate the verb in past tense that is the original text of the Holy Qor-aan)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= Consequently; so; thereafter; therefore; then; thus; yet)
This verse ends with the Phrase Laa-khao-foon aa-lai-him … meaning No Fear Upon

- خَوۡفٌ — Khao-foon — Fear (= The state of being afraid, frightened or scared with or without any reason, perils or perilous condition. A/t/a, ‘shall be … fear, ‘shall have … fear,’ ‘‘shall come … fear,’ ‘fear shall be’ and ‘will have … to fear’)
- عَلَيۡ — Aa-lai — Upon (= Above; against; for; on; on top of; over; to. A/t/a, ‘upon,’ ‘on’ and ‘there shall remain … on’)
- هِمۡ — Him — Them (= pl., m., 3rd person. Aforesaid followers of the good. A/t/a, ‘such’)

- يَحۡزَنُوۡنَ — Yauh-za-noo-n — They Grieve (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Experience grief. Feel sorrow. What evokes regret or remorse. Worrying about something in the past that can’t be remedied. A/t/a, ‘shall they grieve’ and ‘to grieve’)
