The Holy Qor-aan 007:060
لَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوۡحًا اِلٰى قَوۡمِهٖ فَقَالَ يٰقَوۡمِ اعۡبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَـكُمۡ مِّنۡ اِلٰهٍ غَيۡرُهٗ ؕ اِنِّىۡۤ اَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍ
La qaud aur-aul-naa noo-haun aiy-laa qao-may he
Fa qaa-la yaa qao-may aiy-bo-doo l-laa-ha
Maa la koom min aiy-laa-hin ghai-ro ho
In-nee aa-khaa-fo aa-lai koom aa-zaa-ba yao-min aa-zee-m
We surely sent Noah as Messenger to his people
So he said, “Listen my people! Worship Allah.
No god to worship is for you other than Him.
Surely I am afraid for you about the punishment of the Great Day.”
- لَ — La — Surely (= Absolutely. Assuredly. Certainly. Definitely)
- قَدۡ — Qaud — Surely (= This word lays emphasis like very definitely; surely. See Note 004:049 and our Commentary titled the ‘2 Words of Emphasis used together Multiply Effect. A/t/a, ‘Certainly,’ ‘indeed’ and ‘long ago’)
- اَرۡسَلۡنَا — Aur-saul — We sent (= v., past., pl., 1st person. Appointed; dispatched; deputed; empowered with the authority; raised; set up. The past tense verb for single 3rd person is converted into that of plural 1st person as explained in Note 001:007. A/t/a, ‘sent,’ ‘ ’sent forth’ and ‘did send’)
- نَآ — Naa — We (= pro., pl., 1st person. Our; Us)
- نُوۡحًا — Noo-haun — Noah (= The name of a Messenger / Prophet of Allah. A/t/a, ‘Nuh (Noah)’ and ‘Noah (of old) ‘people’)
- اِلَى — Aiy-laa — To (= In the direction of; to [most]; towards. A/t/a, ‘unto’)
- قَوۡمِ — Qao-may — People (= n., s., Addressees; attendees; fellows; followers; folks; nation; party; tribe)
- هٖ — He — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Messenger Noah)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= Consequently; so; thereafter; therefore; then; thus; yet. A/t/a, ‘and’)

- اعۡبُدُوا — Aiy-bo-do … (ol) — You worship (= v. pres., pl, 2nd person. Beseech; live in the given lifestyle; pray; praise; sincerely. A/t/a, ‘serve’)
- ٱللَّهَ — Laa-ha — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- مَاۤ — Maa — No (= Absolutely none)

- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men)
- مِّنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several articles, counts, kind, things, persons or phenomenon)
- اِلٰهٍ — Aiy-laa-hin — God (= n., A deity, object, person or value worthy of worship. A/t/a, ‘no god,’ ‘no One worthy of worship,’ ‘Ilah (God) but Him (La ilaha illallah; none has the right to be worship but Allah)’
- غَيۡرُ — Ghai-ro — Other than (= Besides; else; excluding; not; other than; out of; prohibiting; without. A/t/a, ‘no other .. but,’ ‘other … but’ and ‘save’)
- هٗ — Hoo — Him (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty God. A/t/a, ‘He’)
- اِنِّىۡۤ — In-nee — Surely I am (= Combination of two words. The 1st word اِنّ (in) means certainly, indeed, surely. The 2nd word ىَ (yay) means Me or I. A/t/a, ‘I,’ ’Indeed I,’ ‘Surely I,’ ‘truly I’ and ‘Lo!’)
- اَخَافُ — Aa-khaa-fo — I fear (= v., pres., 1st person. Be afraid or scared; feel fear)
