The Holy Qor-aan 007:094
فَتَوَلّٰى عَنۡهُمۡ وَقَالَ يٰقَوۡمِ لَقَدۡ اَبۡلَغۡتُكُمۡ رِسٰلٰتِ رَبِّىۡ وَنَصَحۡتُ لَـكُمۡۚ فَكَيۡفَ اٰسٰی عَلٰى قَوۡمٍ كٰفِرِيۡنَ
Fa ta-waul-laa aun hoom wa qaa-la
Yaa qao-may la qaud aub-laugh-to koom
Ray-saa-la-tay raub-bee wa na-sauh-to la koom
Fa kai-fa aa-saa aa-laa qao-min kaa-fay-ee-n
So he turned away from them and said,
“My people, I delivered to you
A message from my God and I have advised you.
Then how could I feel sorry for people who are disbelievers.”
- فَ — Fa — So (= Consequently; so; thereafter; therefore; then; thus; yet. A/t/a, ‘so’ and ‘then’)
- تَوَلّٰى — Ta-waul-laa–He turned away (= v., past., s., 3rd person. A/t/a, ‘left,’ ‘turned away,’ ‘turned,’ ‘Shu’aib … departed,’ ‘Shu’aib left’ and ‘Shoaib left’)
- عَنۡ — Aun — From (= About; concerning; regarding; relative to)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Those men; they; theirs)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., It links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
- قَا لَ — Qaa-la — Said (= v., past., s., m., 3rd person. Announced; called; conveyed countered; declared; stated or told. See 002:031. A/t/a, ‘communicating with himself.’ But the verb in present tense as in ‘saying’ has not translated the verb in the past tense used in he Holy Qor-aan text)
Except for the singular رِسَالَةَ in 007:080 and plural رِسٰلٰتِ in 007:094
the text in the next thirteen (13) words is the same is said two verses
- يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; hearken; pay attention; ‘O’)
- قَوۡمِ — Qao-may … (ay) — People (= n., s., Addressees; attendees; fellows; followers; folks; nation; party; people; tribe)
- لَ — La — Surely (= Absolutely. Assuredly. Certainly. Definitely)
- قَدۡ — Qaud — Surely (= This word lays emphasis like very definitely; surely. See Note 004:049 and our Commentary titled the ‘2 of Emphasis used together Multiply Effect. A/t/a, ‘indeed’)
- اَبۡلَغۡتُ — Aub-laugh-to — I delivered (= v., past., s., 1st person. Brought. Conveyed. Gave. Given. Passed on. Presented. Sent. Supplied. A/t/a, ‘I delivered,’ ‘I did deliver,’ ‘I did convey,’ ‘I did … convey’ and ‘I … conveyed’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men. The Holy Qor-aan has often used this word for both men and women jointly. A/ta, ‘unto you’ and ‘to you’)
- رِسٰلٰتِ — Ray-aa-la-tay — Messages (= n., p., Communications. Revelations. A/t/a, ‘messages for which I was sent by,’ ‘messages’ and ‘the message’)
- رَبِّ — Raub-bay — GOD / LORD (= The Almighty Allah who fills all needs of all creatures. Cherisher. Creator. Guardian. Lord Provident. Master. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist. See 001:002)
- ىۡ — Ee — My (= pro., s., 1st person., I; me; my)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., It links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
- نَصَحۡتُ — Na-sauh-to — I’ve advised (= v., past., s., 1st person. Counseled. Directed. Instructed. Guided. Opined. Warned. Wished you well. The past tense verb for single 3rd person is converted into that of singular 1st person as explained in Note 001:007. A/t/a, ‘I …. gave … sincere counsel,’ ‘gave … good advice,’ ‘I did offer … sincere advice,’ ‘I have given … good advice,’ ‘gave … good advice,’ ‘I gave … good counsel’ and ‘I advised you sincerely’)
- لَ — La — For (= Belonging to. For the object, person, purpose or reason of; intended for; meant for; on account of; concerning; regarding; relative to)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men. See كُمۡ above)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= See فَ above. A/t/a, ‘but,’ ‘then’ and ‘Now’)
- كَيۡفَ — Kai-fa –How (= How or what about. How could, would or should it be, do, fare or look. In what fashion, manner, method or way. A/t/a, ‘How should,’ ‘how … should,’ ‘how shall’ and ‘how can’)
- اٰسٰی — Aa-saa — I felt sorry (= v., past., s., 1st person. A/t/a, ‘be sorry,’ ‘I sorrow,’ ‘I lament’ and ‘I grieve’)
- عَلٰى– Aa-laa — On (= Above; against; before; during; for; on; on top of; over; to; upon. A/t/a, ‘over,’ ‘for’ and ‘after’)
- قَوۡمٍ — Qao-min — People (= n., s., Addressees; attendees; fellows; followers; folks; nation; party; people; tribe)
- كٰفِرِيۡنَ — Kaa-fay-ree-na — The ungrateful (= n., pl. Those who denied, disbelieved, disclaimed; failed to acknowledge, lacked Faith, rejected Iss-laam and God Almighty or were thankless and ungrateful. See Commentary Believe and Disbelieve.
