اَفَاَمِنَ اَهۡلُ الۡـقُرٰٓى اَنۡ يَّاۡتِيَهُمۡ بَاۡسُنَا بَيَاتًا وَّهُمۡ نَآٮِٕمُوۡنَؕ

 

Aa  fa  aa-may-na  ah-lo  ol-qo-raa
Aun  yau-ta-ya  hoom  bau-so naa
Ba-yaa-taun  wa  hoom  naa-aiy-moo-n

 

So have the town dwellers become secure against
That Our punishment strikes them
At nighttime and they are sleeping?

 

But for فَ in 007:098 and وَ in 007:099, the text in next nine (9) words is the same

  • اَ — Aa — Have (= Word asking a question like are, can, could, do, did, have; had, shell, should, will, would, what, etc. A/t/a, ‘Did,’ ‘Do,’ ‘Are’ and ‘Were’)
  • فَ — Fa — So (= After all this; as a result; at the end; consequently; hence; yet; in conclusion; resultantly; so; then; thereafter; therefore; thus. A/t/a, ‘then’ and  ‘now’)
  • اَمِنَ — Aa-may-na — Become secure (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Become peaceful, safe and secure. Entered where there is no disturbance. Got real law and order situation without any turmoil. A/t/a, ‘secure’ but that noun as well as ‘feel secure,’ ‘do … feel secure’ and verb in the present tense have not translated the Holy  Qor-aan text in the past tense)
  • اَهۡلُ — Ah-lo … (l) — Dwellers (= Owner, person or resident. See Note 002:197. A/t/a, the people of’)
  • الۡقُرٰٓى — Qo-raa — The towns (= n., pl of a city, colony, hamlet, habitat, population, center town, township or anywhere man lives, prospers or resides. A/t/a, ‘the towns,’ ‘these towns,’ ‘these townships,’ ‘the townships’ and ‘those cities’)
  • اَنۡ — Aun — That (= So that. The fact is that. A/t/a, ‘that,’ ‘against,’ ‘from’  and ‘when’)
  • يَّاۡتِيَ — Yau-tay-ya — Comes (= v., pres., s., m/g., 3rd person. Arrives. Comes. Strikes. See 002:211 for more meanings. At/a, ‘coming to,’ ‘the coming of,’ ‘will not come upon … all of a sudden,’ ‘overtook’ and ‘the coming upon’)
  • هُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Those men; they; theirs)
  • بَاۡسُ — Bau-so — Punishment (= n., Aggravation. Anger. Dander. Fury. Ire. Rage. Wrath GOD’s punishment may show in absence of assets,  adversity, deprivation, destitution. homelessness, indigence, insolvency, pennilessness, penury and poverty. A/t/a, ’ ‘punishment,’ ‘wrath and ‘vengeance’)
  • نَآ  — Naa — Our (= pro., pl., 1st person. Our; Us)
  • بَيَاتًا — Ba-yaa-taun — Nighttime (= adj., Dowdiness. Drabness. Homeliness. Plainness  The state of being at home, comfortable, enjoying night life and having no fear or worry. A/t/ ‘by night,’ ‘as a night-raid’ and ‘in the night’)
  • وّ — Wa — And (= Conj., It links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet. A/t/a, ‘while’ and ‘whilst’)
  • هُمۡ — Hoom — They (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Those men; they; theirs)
  • نَآٮِٕمُوۡنَ — Naa-aiy-moo-n — Sleeping (= n., pl., Asleep. Slumbering. Snoozing. Snoring. A/t/a,  ‘sleep,’ ‘are asleep,’ ‘were asleep’ and ‘were sleeping’)
