The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                            007:109

 

وَّنَزَعَ يَدَهٗ فَاِذَا هِىَ بَيۡضَآءُ لِلنّٰظِرِيۡنَ

 

Wa  na-za-aa  ya-da  hoo  fa  aiy-zaa  hay-ya
Bai-dzaa-o  lay  n-na-zay-ee-n
 

 

And he took out his hand. Then look! Here it’s
Dazzling white for on-lookers

 

  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; also; but; moreover; though; when; while; whereupon; yet. A/t/a, ‘Then’)
  • نَزَعَ — Na-za-aa — He took out (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Disclosed Opened. Removed  Showed. Took out. A/t/a, ‘drew forth,’ ‘drew out’ and ‘drew’)
  • يَدَ —  Ya-da — Hand (= The terminal part where an arm ends. A/t/a, ‘hand (from his bosom)’
  • هٗ — Hoo — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to Prophet Moses)

Text in the next three (3) words is in both verses 007:108 and 007:109

  • فَ  — Fa — Then (= After all this; as a result; at the end; consequently; hence; in conclusion; resultantly; so; then; thereafter; therefore; thus; yet. A/t/a, ‘and’)
  • اِذَا  — Aiy-zaa — Look (= Behold; call to mind; consider; now that; ponder over; recall; reflect, remember; think of. A/t/a, ‘lo’)
  • هِىَ — Hay-ya — It (= pro., pl, f., in 3rd person. She)
  • بَيۡضَآءُ — Bai-dzaa-o — White (= n., White in color. Dazzling. Shining. A/t/a, ‘white,’          ‘appeared white,’ ‘shining white (-blemishless),’ ‘shining bright’ and ‘white (with radiance)’
  • لِ — Lay — For (= For the benefit, object, person, purpose or reason of; meant for; concerning; regarding; relative to. See Note 002:003a. A/t/a, ‘to’ and ‘for’)
  • النّٰظِرِيۡنَ — Naa-zay-reen — On-lookers (= n., pl., Attendees; beholders; observers; on-lookers; seers; viewers; visitors; witnesses. A/t/a, ‘all who saw it’)
