The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                     007:105

 

وَ قَالَ مُوۡسٰى يٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ اِنِّىۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ

Wa  qaa-la  moo-saa  yaa  phir-ao-no  in-nee
Ra-soo-loon  min-r  raub-il  aa-la-mee-n

 

And Moses said, “Listen!  Pharaoh, I certainly am
A messenger from the Lord God of the worlds.”

 

  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; also; but; moreover; though; when; whereupon; while; yet)
  • قَا لَ — Qaa-la — Said (= v., past., s., m., 3rd person. Announced; called; conveyed countered; declared; stated or told. See 002:031)
  • مُوۡسٰى — Moo-sa — Moses (= The name of a Messenger / Prophet of Allah. A/t/a, ‘Musa (Moses)’ 
  • يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; hearken; pay attention; O!)
  • فِرۡعَوۡنُ — Phir-auo-no — Pharaoh (= n., Dictatorial monarchs of Egypt. Also used for one  who is arrogant, boastful, pride-stricken, vanity rich or with big ego. A/t/a, ‘Fir’aun (Pharaoh)’ 
  • اِنِّىۡ — In-nee — Certainly I am (= Combination of two words. The 1st word  اِنۡ  (in) means   absolutely, clearly, decidedly, doubtlessly, positively, indeed, really, surely, truly or verily. The 2nd word ىۡ is the pronoun for one in 1st person. A/t/a, ‘I am,’ ‘Surely, I am,’ ‘Truly I am,’ ‘verily, I am’ and ‘Lo! I am’)
  • رَسُوۡلٌ — Ra-soo-loon — Messenger (= n., s., Apostle; God’s messenger; prophet; sage; saint. A/t/a, ‘an apostle’)
  • مِّنۡ — Min … (ir) — From (= Among, from)
  • رَّبِّ — Raub-bay … (il) GOD / LORD (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Lord Provident; Master; The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
  • الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ‏ — Aa-la-meen — The Universe (= n., pl., As an attribute of God Almighty the word implies no limits. It means the Universe, all His creations, all that exists in the whole Universe, has life, and the Mankind. See Note 001:002. A/t/a, ‘of the worlds,’ ‘of the Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)’ and ‘of the creation’)
