The Holy Qor-aan 005:012
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اِذۡ هَمَّ قَوۡمٌ اَنۡ يَّبۡسُطُوۡۤا اِلَيۡكُمۡ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فَكَفَّ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ عَنۡكُمۡ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ ؕ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ
Yaa-auy-yo-hul-la-zee-na-aa-ma-noo Ooz-ko-roo-nae-ma-tul-laa-hay-alai-koom Iz-hum-ma-qao-moon-un-yub-so-too Elai-koom-aiy-day-ya-hoom Fa-cuf-fa-aiy-da-ya-hoom-un-koom Wut-ta-qool-laa-ha-wa-alul-laa-hay Ful-ya-ta-wuk-ka-lil-moe-may-noo-n
Listen, you all who have believed! Remember the blessing of Allah upon you When a people decided to stretch inimically Against you their hands But He cuffed their hands from you. And you should love Allah. And on Allah Thus the Believers certainly trust
The Holy Qor-aan has used the Phrase Yaa-auy-yo-hul-la-zee-na-aa-ma-noo many times
- يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; hearken; pay attention; O!)
- اَيُّهَا — Auy-yo-ha(ul) — You all (= All addressees; entire audience; whole lot of listeners)
- ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Those articles, things or persons
- اٰمَنُوۡۤ — Aa-ma-noo — They Believed (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Believed in the Holy Qor-aan; became Moslems. Accepted, acknowledged, admitted or witnessed their entry in Iss-laam. - اذۡكُرُوۡا — Uzko-roo — Remember (= v., pres., pl.,2nd person. Attend to; bear in mind; call to mind; consider; contemplate; keep in mind; mention; pay attention; ponder; recall; reflect; remember; think about or of. See Note 002:153. A/t/a, ‘call in remembrance’ and ‘call to mind’)

- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- عَلَيۡ — Alai — On (= Above; against; before; during; for; on top of; over; to. A/t/a, ‘Unto,’ ‘on,’ ‘upon’ and ‘bestowed upon’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You all men. Generally this is the way the Holy Qor-aan addresses men and women)
- اِذۡ — Iz — When (= At the time or event; behold; call to mind; consider; now that; ponder over; recall; reflect, remember or think of the time, event, occasion, opportunity or time)
- هَمَّ — Hum-ma — Decided (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Chose; decided; deemed; designed; determined; intended; premeditated or made up mind; resolved. A/t/a, ‘formed the design,’ ‘were minded,’ ‘had made up their mind,’ ‘sought’ and ‘desired made a plan)’
- قَوۡمٌ — Qao-moon — A people (= n., s., A bunch, group, party, set or section of … fellows, followers, nation, people or tribe. A/t/a, ‘certain people,’ ‘a people’ and ‘some people’)
- اَنۡ — Un — That (= So that)
- يَّبۡسُطُوۡۤا — Yub-so-too — They stretch (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Extend, forward, push forward, spread or stretch inimically to harm and hurt. A/t/a, ‘to stretch out,’ ‘stretch forth,’ ‘to lay’ and ‘harm’)
