The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                             007:067

 

قَالَ الۡمَلَاُ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ قَوۡمِهٖۤ اِنَّا لَــنَرٰٮكَ فِىۡ سَفَاهَةٍ وَّاِنَّا لَــنَظُنُّكَ مِنَ الۡـكٰذِبِيۡنَ‏

 

Qaa-la  ul-ma-la-o  ol-la-ze-na  ka-fa-roo  min  qao-may  he
In-naa  la  na-raa  ka  fee  sa-faa-ha-tin
Wa  in-naa  la  na-zoon-no  ka  may-na  ul-kaa-zay-bee-n  

 

The leaders who disbelieved from his people said,
“We surely see you in a foolishness
And we think you are among the liars.”

 

Next seven (7) words are repeated in four (4) verses except for
كَفَرُوۡا in 007:067 & 007:091 and اسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡا in 007:076 & 007:089

  • قَا لَ — Qaa-la — He said (= v., past, s., 3rd person. Announced; broadcast; called; conveyed; declared; informed; explained; specified; told.  See also 002:031)
  • الۡمَلَاُ — Ma-la-o — The leaders (= n., pl., Bosses; chiefs; family-heads; gurus; heroes; generals; people in the forefront. A/t/a, ‘leading men,’ ‘chiefs,’ chieftains’ andelders’)
  • ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-ze-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Refers to those articles, persons, or phenomenon or things in masculine gender. A/t/a, ‘of’ and ‘who’)
  • كَفَرُوۡا — Ka-fa-roo — They disbelieved (= v., past, pl., 3rd person. Denied, refused or rejected the Faith and belief in Allah, the Holy Qor-aan, Iss-laam and become Moslem. For more meanings see our Commentary Believe and Disbelieve. A/t/a, ‘disbelieving,’  ‘unbelieving’ and unbelievers’)
  • مِنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several articles, counts, kind, things, persons or phenomenon. A/t/a, ‘from among’ and ‘of’)
  • قَوۡمِ — Qao-may — People (= n., s., Addressees; attendees; fellows; followers; folks;  nation; party; people; tribe)
  • هٖ — He — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the aforesaid person)
  • اِنَّا — In-naa — Surely we (= This combines two words. The first word  اِنۡ  (in) means absolutely, certainly, positively, surely or verily. The second word  نَآ  (naa) means we, us or our. Together the word  اِنَّا  (in-naa) combines both meanings. A/t/a, ‘Lo!’)
  • لَ — La — Certainly (= Absolutely; assuredly; categorically; clearly, definitely, doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed; positively; really; truly; seriously; sincerely; specifically; surely; verily A/t/a, ‘Most surely’)
  •  نَرٰ  ى   — Na-raa — We see (= v., pres., pl., 1st person. Notice; observe; watch. A/t/a, ‘we see,’ ‘we … see,’ ‘we regard’ and ‘we can see’)  
  • كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. You single male. A/t/a, ‘thou art,’ ‘thee’ and ‘you’)
  • فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Among. Inside a person or place. See Note 002:028)
  • سَفَاهَةٌ — Sa-faa-ha-tin — Foolishness (= n., Absurdity. Folly. Foolhardiness. Foolishness. Futility. Idiocy. Impudence. Insanity. Irrationality. Lacking common sense. Recklessness. Senselessness. Silliness. Stupidity. A/t/a, ‘involved in foolishness,’ ‘lost in foolishness,’ ‘in foolishness’ and ‘in folly.’ But saying that you are ‘of unsound mind,’ ‘a foolish man’ and ‘an imbecile’ is inaccurate translation of the Holy Qor-aan text that had pinpointed a specific characteristic and not the person of the messenger)
  •  وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., It links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet. A/t/a, ‘and in fact’ and ‘and what is more’)
  • اِنَّا — In-naa — Surely we (= ‘we certainly.’  See  اِنَّا  above)
  • لَ — La — Certainly (= Absolutely; assuredly. See لَ  above)
  • نَظُنُّ — Na-zoon-no-ka — We think (= v., pres., pl., 1st person. Assume; conjecture; construe; guess; presume; think. A/t/a, ‘we think,’ ‘we … think,’ ‘we believe’ and ‘we deem’)
  • كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. You single male. A/t/a, ‘thee,’ ‘you are’ and ‘Thou art’)
  • مِنَ — May-na … (ul) — From (= Among, from or out of the class. See  مِنۡ  above. A/t/a,  ‘to be one of,’ ‘one of’ and ‘of’)
  • الۡكٰذِبِيۡنَ‏ — Kaa-zay-bee-n — The liars (= n., pl., Those who lie so much that even their faces tell that they are lying. A/t/a, ‘the liars’ and ‘one of the liars.’ But the singular as in ‘a liar’ and the verb as in ‘you are lying’ are no translations of the plural noun in the text of the Holy Qor-aan)
