The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                                002:077

وَاِذَا لَـقُوۡا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا قَالُوۡآ اٰمَنَّا  ۖۚ وَاِذَا خَلَا بَعۡضُهُمۡ اِلٰى بَعۡضٍ قَالُوۡآ اَ تُحَدِّثُوۡنَهُمۡ بِمَا فَتَحَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لِيُحَآجُّوۡكُمۡ بِهٖ عِنۡدَ رَبِّكُمۡ‌ؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ‏

 
Wa-ezaa-la-qool-la-zee-na-aa-ma-noo-qa-loo-aa-mun-naa
Wa-ezaa-kha-laa-bau-dzo-hoom-elaa-bau-dzin
Qaa-loo-aa-to-hud-day-soo-na-hoom-bay-maa-fa-ta-hul-la-ho
Alai-koom-lay-yo-haaj-joo-koom-bay-he-in-da-rub-bay-koom
Aa-fa-laa-tau-qay-loo-n.

And when they met those who had believed, they said, “We have believed.”
And when some of them went private to some others
They said, “Do you tell them what Allah has disclosed
To you so that thereby they could argue with you before your God.
Aren’t you going to act wisely?”

{1st 9 words of the verses 002:015 & 002:077 are the same}

• وَ — Wa — And  (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
• اِذَاۤ — Izaa — When (= Any time or event; now that; whenever)
• لَـقُوۡا — La-qoo…(l) — They met (= v., Attended; came across face to face; entered upon; got together; saw; visited)
• ٱلَّذِينَ — La-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Refers to all those believers)
• اٰمَنُوۡۤ — Aa-ma-noo — Believed (= v., past., pl. Who totally and wholeheartedly believed in the Holy Qor-aan, Islaam and became Moslems)
• قَا لُوۡا — Qaa-loo — They said (= v., past., pl., m., 3rd person. Alleged; announced; told asserted; broadcast; conveyed; explained; informed; maintained; specified; stated)
• اٰمَنَّا — Aa-mun-na — We believed (= v., past., pl.  1. We have totally and wholeheartedly believed in the Holy Qor-aan, Islaam and are Moslems. 2. We embraced and entered the Faith and are faithful)
• وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses.   See وَ  above)
• اِذَاۤ — Izaa — When  (= Any time or event; now that; whenever)
• خَلَا — Kha-laa — Went private (= Entered privacy or seclusion; got together; in private; isolated; met; joined clandestine or private meetings or private gatherings; met one and another alone; they separated themselves to meet others of their own kind in secret conference; upbraid one another)
• بَعۡضُ — Bau-dzo — Some of (= A few; a part; fraction; portion; others)
• ھُمۡ‌ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to all those hypocrites)
• اِلٰٓى — E-laa — To (= 1. In the direction of; towards. 2. For; until; till)
• بَعۡضٍ — Bau-dzin — Some of (= A few; a part; fraction; portion; others)
• قَا لُوۡا — Qaa-loo — They said (= v., past., pl.., m., 3rd person. Announced; asserted; told broadcast; conveyed; explained; informed; stated)
• اَ — Aa –Do (= Question mark like to Are? Can? Have? Shell? Will?)
• تُحَدِّثُوۡنَ — To-hud-day-soona — Tell (= Babble; communicate; disclose; discuss; inform; jabber; narrate; prate; prattle; preach; rant; report; speak.   Also, “The description and qualities of the prophet”s.a.w.   Also and “Of the prophecies in your scriptures about the prophet” s.a.w)
• ھُمۡ‌ –Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person.   Refers to all those believers)
• بِ — Bay– With (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’)
• مَا  — Maa — All that (= 1. What; whatever; whatsoever. 2. Any time; at such time; when; whenever)
• فَتَحَ – Fa-ta-ha…(ul) — Disclosed ** (= Exposed; informed; laid bare; opened up; recalled; revealed; shown; told; unfolded; won with victory) **
• اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
• عَلَيۡ — Alai — On (= Above; against; before; for; on top of; over; upon. Also
  incurs, obligates, subjects himself to, or takes on)
• کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl. m., 2nd person.   You. Here the reference is to the Israelites بَنِىۡٓ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ )
• لِ — Lay — So that (= For the attention, benefit, purpose or reason of.   With intent to. With the object of)
• يُحَآجُّو — Yo-haaj-joo — Argue (= Contend; discus; dispute; engage in argumentation; fight about; wasteful conversation; wrangle)
• کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl. m., 2nd person. You the Israelites.   See  کُمۡ  above)
• بِ — Bay — With (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’)
• هٖ — He — That (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to what God has revealed)
• عِنۡدَ — In-da — Before (= Close at hand; in the counting, estimation, eyes, front; near, presence or sight of; with)
• رَبِّ — Rub-bay — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures;
  Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident.  The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
• کُمۡ — Koom –You (= pro., pl. m., 2nd person. You the Israelites.   See  کُمۡ  above)
• اَ — Aa — Are (= Question mark like Can?  Do?  Have?  Shell?  Will?)
• فَ — Fa — Then (= Consequently; as a result; so; thereafter; therefore; yet)
• لَا — Laa — Not (= Absolute denial; never; not at all; total negation)
• تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ — Tau-qay-loo-n — You act wisely (= Be smart; consider; exercise, think about, use, utilize or put into practice your brain-power, common sense, intellect, intelligence or thinking potential use brain power; use intelligence; grow in understanding; understand. a/t/a ‘Have you no sense’; ‘have you no understanding’; don’t you realize the situation)
