Holy Qor-aan 002:025
فَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَفۡعَلُوۡا وَلَنۡ تَفۡعَلُوۡا فَاتَّقُوۡا النَّارَ الَّتِىۡ وَقُوۡدُهَا النَّاسُ وَالۡحِجَارَةُ ۖۚ اُعِدَّتۡ لِلۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ
Fa in laum tauf-aa-loo wa laun tauf-aa-loo
Fa ut-ta-qoo aun-naa-ra ul-la-tee
Wa-qoo-do haa un-na-so wa ul-hay-jaa-ra-to
O-id-daut lay il-kaa-fay-ree-n
Then if you do not do, and you can never do, that
Then avoid the fire of which
The fuel is the people and stones
Prepared for the disbelievers.
- فَ — Fa — Then (= After all this; as a result; at the end; but; consequently; hence; in conclusion; so; then; thereafter; therefore; thus; yet. See 002:027)
- اِنِ — In — If (= In case; under the circumstances; when; whenever)
- لَمۡ — Laum — Not (= Never; no; none; not at all; nothing)
- تَفۡعَلُوۡا — Tauf-a-loo — You do (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Act. Deliver. Do. Materialize. Perform)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; moreover; though; when; while; whereupon; yet)
- لَن — Laun — Never (= Absolute denial; no; not; not at all; total negation. A/t/a, ‘by no means’)
- تَفۡعَلُوۡا — Tauf-a-loo — You do (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Act. Deliver. See تَفۡعَلُوۡا above)
- فَ — Fa … (ut) — Then (= Consequently; resultantly; so; thereafter. See فَ above)
- اتَّقُوۡا — Aua-qoo … (n) — Aut-ta-qoo … (n) — Avoid (= v., past., pl., 2nd person. Avoid angering Allah. Clean inner self. Do duty to God Almighty. Fear the day you return to God to answer all you did. See Commentary ‘The Righteous’)
- النَّارَ — Naa-ra … (ul) — The Fire (= n., The source for light and heat. Rapid sustained chemical reaction releasing heat and light. Also points to the hell, hell-fire or purgatory as punishment for the wrath of Allah)
- الَّتِىۡ — Aul-la-tee — Which (= s., f., 3rd person. Those articles, things or persons in feminine gender. Ref is to the fire)
- وَقُوۡدُ — Wa-qoo-do — Fuel (= n., Combustible material of any kind like oil or wood burnt to produce heat or light. Material promoting the combustion of fire)
- هَا — Haa … (un) — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person. Refers to the aforesaid fire)
- النَّاسُ — Naa-so — The people (= n., Factions; folks, mankind, groups of men, nations or tribes. Human beings. Add where necessary All people regardless of color, creed, culture or country of original. Refers to soft elements that are easy to break and burn)
- وَ — Wa … (ul) — And (= Conjunction that connects words. See وَ above)
- الۡحِجَارَةُ — Hay-jaa-ra-to — Stones (= n., pl., Lumps of clay; pebbles; rocks; rocky clay. Refers to the hard things difficult to break and burn)
- اُعِدَّتۡ — O-id-daut — Prepared (= v., past., pass., f/g., 3rd person. Arranged. Attended to. Completed. Equipped. Got ready. Organized. Primed. Prepared. Setup. Structured)
- لِ — Lay … (il) — For (= For the attention, benefit, convenience, object, person, purpose or reason of. Concerning, regarding or relative to. Intended or meant for. See 002:003a)
- الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ — Kaa-fay-ree-n — The ungrateful (= n., pl. Those who denied, disbelieved, disclaimed, failed to acknowledge, lacked Faith, rejected Iss-laam and God Almighty or were thankless and ungrateful. See Note 002:027 and Commentary Believe and Disbelieve)
