The Holy Qor-aan 007:129
قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِ ٱسۡتَعِينُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْۖ إِنَّ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ لِلَّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَٱلۡعَـٰقِبَةُ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ
Qaa-la moo-saa lay qao-may hay
Is -ta-ee-noo bay il-laa-ha wa us-ba-roo
In-naul aur-dza lay il-laa-hay you-ray-tho haa
Maun ya-shaa-o min aiy-baa-day he
Wa ul-aa-qay-ba-to lay il-moot-ta-qee-n
Moses said to his people,
“Get protection with Allah and persevere in doing that.
Surely the earth belongs to Allah. He makes heirs to it
Whomever of His servants He chooses.
And the follow up (good life in the Hereafter) is for the Righteous.”
- قَا لَ — Qaa-la — Said (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Announced; called; conveyed; countered; declared; stated or told. See 002:031)
- مُوۡسٰى –Moo-saa — Moses (= The name of a Messenger / Prophet of Allah. A/t/a, ‘Moses’ and Musa (Moses)
- لِ — Lay — For / To (= For the benefit, object, person, purpose or reason of; intended for; meant for; concerning; regarding; relative to; to; towards; unto. Also, so that. See 002:003a. A/t/a, ‘to’ and ‘unto’)
- قَوۡمِ — Qao-may — People (= n., s., Addressees; attendees; fellows; followers; folks; nation; party; people ; tribe)
- هِ — Hay … (iss) — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to Prophet Moses)
- ٱسۡتَعِينُواْ — Iss-ta-ee-noo — Get protection (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Ask, beseech, beg, demand abjectly, desire, entreat, get, implore, intreat, obtain, plead, pray, pursue, request, seek or try for assistance, guidance, succor or fortification and protection against any or all kinds of real or perceived dangers, hazards, issues, problems or risks. A/t/a, ‘seek help,’ ‘ask help,’ ‘Pray for help’ and ‘imploring Him for help’)
- بِ — Bay … (il) — With / In (= The best translation of the word بِ is ‘with’ but some contexts may warrant its translation as in. A/t/a, ‘in’ and ‘from’)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- وَ — Wa … (us) — And (= Conj., Links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; also; but; moreover; though; when; while; whereupon; yet)
- ٱصۡبِرُوٓا — Aus-bay-roo — Persevere (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Be patient and steadfast. Be consistent, constant, continuing, determined, patient, perseverant, persistent, pursuant and unwavering. Be repetitive without failing, falling, flailing, faltering or fouling. Endure. Show endurance and fortitude. A/t/a, ‘(wait) in patience and constancy,’ ‘be patient,’ ‘be steadfast,’ ‘be patiently persevering’ and ‘endure’)

- ٱلۡأَرۡضَ — Aul-ur-dza — The Earth (= n., Area; country; earth; ground; land; soil; territory. Also, life on earth, nation; people or society in general. See Note 002:028)

- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- يُورِثُ — You-ray-tho — He makes heirs (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. He bestows, donates, gives, grants, leaves, makes or passes on something as a gift, inheritance or ownership. A.t/a, ‘to give as heritage,’ ‘He gives … as a heritage,’ ‘He bestows it as heritage,’ ‘He gives as a heritage,’ ‘He gives … for an inheritance,’ ‘He giveth … for an inheritance,’ ‘He gives’ and ‘He bequeaths’)
- هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person., Refers to aforesaid group)
- مَنۡ — Maun … (ya) — Whomever (= Anyone; who; whoever; whom; whomever; whoso. A/t/a, ‘to such,’ ‘on whomever,’ ‘to whomsoever,’ ‘to whom’ and ‘to … whom’)
