The Holy Qor-aan 007:145
قَالَ يٰمُوۡسٰٓى اِنِّى اصۡطَفَيۡتُكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بِرِسٰلٰتِىۡ وَ بِكَلَامِىۡ ۖ فَخُذۡ مَاۤ اٰتَيۡتُكَ وَكُنۡ مِّنَ الشّٰكِرِيۡنَ
Qaa-la yaa moo-saa in-nee
Aus-ta-fay-to ka aa-la un-naa-say
Bay ray-saa-laa-t ee wa bay ka-laa-m ee
Fa khooz maa aa-taiy-to ka
Wa koon may-na ush-shaa-kay-ree-n
He said, “Listen Moses! I surely
Preferred you over other people
With My message and with My dialogue.
So take what I give you
And be among the grateful.”

- مُوۡسٰى — Moo-saa — Moses (= The name of a Messenger / Prophet of Allah)
- اِنِّ — In-n … (ee) — Certainly (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly; indeed; positively;

- ىۡ — Ee — I (= pro., s., 1st person., I; me; my)
- اصۡطَفَيۡتُ — Aus-ta-fai-to — Preferred (= v., past., s., 1st person. Chose; elevated; exalted; picked; preferred; selected. Also, anointed, cleansed, gave superiority, made holy, purified or sanctified. See 002:248. A/t/a, ‘I have chosen,’ ‘I have exalted’ and ‘ I have preferred’)
- كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. You. The pronoun here refers to Prophet Moses. A/t/a, ‘thee’)

- كُنۡ — Koon — Be (= v., pres., s., 2nd person. Be. Become. Turn into. This is a word of command that orders someone to do something)

- الشّٰكِرِيۡنَ — Shaa-kay-ree-n — The grateful (= n., pl. Appreciative. Thankful. Full of gratitude. Those who are appreciative, grateful and thankful. Those who use and utilize God-Given-Gifts fully, appreciatively and appropriately. A/t/a, ‘those who give thanks’)
