The Holy Qor-aan 014:007
وَاِذۡ قَالَ مُوۡسٰى لِـقَوۡمِهِ اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَةَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اِذۡ اَنۡجٰٮكُمۡ مِّنۡ اٰلِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُوۡمُوۡنَـكُمۡ سُوۡۤءَ الۡعَذَابِ وَ يُذَبِّحُوۡنَ اَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُوۡنَ نِسَآءَكُمۡ ؕ وَفِىۡ ذٰ لِكُمۡ بَلَاۤ ءٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِيۡمٌ
Wa iz qaa-la moo-saa lay qao-may hay
Iz-ko-roo nae-ma-ta ul-laa-hay aa-lai koom
Iz aun-jaa koom min aa-lay phir-auo-na
Ya-soo-moo-na koom soo-a ul-aa-zaa-bay
Yo-zaub-bay-hoo-na aub-naa-aa koom
Wa yaus-tauh-hoo-na nay-saa-aa koom
Wa fee zaa-lay-koom ba-laa-oon
Min-r raub-bay koom aa-zee-m
And when Moses said to his people
Remember the blessing of Allah upon you
When He rescued you from the followers of Pharaoh
They inflicting on you the worst kind of punishment
Taking life of your sons
And giving life to your women
And in that for you was a trial
From your Most Glorious God.

- قَوۡمِ — Qao-may — People (= Addressees; attendees; fellows; followers; folks; nation. party; people; tribe)
- هِ — Hay … (iz) — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to Prophet Moses) –
- اذۡكُرُوۡا — Iz-ko-roo — Remember (= v., pres., s., 2nd person. Attend to; bear in mind; call; consider; contemplate; holler; keep in mind; mention; pay attention; ponder; praise; recall; reflect; remind; think about or of. - کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You all)

- اَنۡجٰ — Aun-jaa — He rescued (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Delivered. Extracted. Protected. Rescued. Recovered. Saved. Took out of the enemy clutches)
- کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person You all)
- مِّنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several articles, counts, kinds, things, persons or phenomenon)
- اٰلِ — Aa-lay — Followers (= n., Children; family; folks; followers; men; nation; people; progeny; off-springs. A/t/a, ‘folk’)
- فِرۡعَوۡنَ — Phir-auo-na — Pharaoh (= The dictatorial monarchs of Egypt who were known for being awfully arrogant, extremely boastful, pride-stricken, vanity-rich and with big ego. See 002:050. A/t/a, ‘Pharaoh’s,’ ‘of Pharoah’ and ‘Fir’aun’s (Pharaoh)’
- يَسُوۡمُوۡنَ — Ya-soo-moo-na — They inflicting (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Afflicting; hurting; imposing; oppressing; punishing; setting up for; subjecting. A/t/a, ‘they set,’ ‘who subjected … to,’ ‘who afflicted … with,’ ‘who were afflicting … with,’ ‘who imposed and ‘who had oppressed’ but that in the past tense is no translation of the present tense in the Holy Qor-aan text)

- يُذَبِّحُوۡنَ — Yo-zaub-bay-hoona — Taking life (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Beheading. Killing. Murdering. Slaughtering. Slaying. A/l/a, ‘putting … to death.’ But the past tense in ‘slew’ and ‘slaughtered’ has not translated the present tense in the Holy Qor-aan text)

- نِسَآءَ — Nay-saa-aa — Women (= n., Girls; female children; female members of family; ladies; widows; wives; women folk. Married companion of a man. A/t/a, ‘women-folk,’ ‘female ones,’ ‘wives’ and ‘your women to make them immodest’)

- ذٰلِكُمۡ — Zaa-lay-koom — For you in this (= This word is a combination of three words. The first ذٰ (zaa) means here, this fact or person who is right here, this or that is how it is, etc. The second لِ (lay) means for, belonging to, or is meant for. The third كُمۡ (koom) is [pro., pl., m., 2nd person] a pronoun for the plural, masculine in 2nd person means You. The combination means this or that is for you. A/t/a, ‘that,’ ‘that (deliverance) there,’ ‘therein,’ ‘this,’ ‘surely that’ and ‘it’)
- بَلَاۤءٌ — Ba-laa-oon — Trial (= n., Calamity. Catastrophe. Difficulty. Disaster. Hardship. Misfortune. Ordeal. Punishment. Test. Trial. A/t/a, ‘reward’)
- مِّنۡ — Min … (r) — From (= Among, from or out of a class, category. See مِّنۡ above)
- رَّبِّ — Raub-bay — GOD / LORD (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Lord Provident; Master; The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
- کُمۡ — Koom — Your (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You all)
- عَظِيۡمٌ — Aa-zeem — Most Glorious (= adj., Superlative form indicates the greatest, highest, and that none more than Him is Glorious, Magnificent, Great, Greatest, Awesome, Mighty and Tremendous. See Note 001:001
