فَاَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيۡطٰنُ عَنۡهَا فَاَخۡرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيۡهِ‌ ‏وَقُلۡنَا اهۡبِطُوۡا بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوٌّ ۚ وَلَـكُمۡ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ مُسۡتَقَرٌّ وَّمَتَاعٌ اِلٰى حِيۡنٍ

Fa-azul-la-ho-maush-shai-taa-no-un-haa                                                                                   Fa-ukh-ra-ja-ho-maa-mim-maa-kaa-naa-fee-hay                                                                   Wa-qool-nuh-bay-too-bau-dzo-koom-lay-bau-dzin-adoo-woon                                               Wa-la-koom-fil-ur-dzay-moos-ta-qur-roon                                                                                   Wa-ma-taa-oon-elaa-hee-n.

Then the Satan misled them both from it.                                                                        So He expelled them both from where they had been.                                                And We said, “You go away.  Some of you are enemies to some others.                And for you on earth is a place to rest                                                                          And benefit for a short while.”

• اَزَلَّ — Azul-la — Misled (= ‘Lured or tempted them both with the prohibited tree’; caused a slip, a fall or to defect; diverted; detoured to bad ways; rerouted to a wrong path)
• هُمَا — Ho-ma…(ush) — Them both (= pro., those two in 3rd person. Referring to Adam and Eve)
• الشَّيۡطٰنُ — Shai-taa-no — The Satan (= n., s., Bad, false or evil deity, friend or leader; devil; evil spirited person; polytheists; ring-leader; Satanic companion;
  the evil personified; a/t/a hypocrite; idol-worshiper)
• عَنۡ — Un — From (= About; concerning; regarding; relative to)
• هَا — Haa — It (= s.., f., 3rd person. Refers to the Paradise)
• فَ — Fa — So (= Consequently; hence; as a resultant; then; thereafter; therefore; thus; yet)
• اَخۡرَجَ — Ukh-ra-ja — Expelled (= The Satan got them banished, deported, descended, exiled, exited, made them depart, drove them out, or had them thrown out)
• هُمَا — Ho-mu…(sh) — Them both (= pro., those two in 3rd person. Referring to Adam and Eve)
• مِمَّا — Mim-ma — Out of what (= The word مِنۡ ‘Min’ means ‘from’ and the word مَا ‘Ma’means ‘what.’ The combination of two words thus means ‘from what’ or concerning, regarding, relative to)
• كَانَا — Kaa-naa — Both had been (= v., Conveys continuation; Both in the 3rd person ‘used to’. This verb and its 14 grammatical variations indicate the continuity from the past to the present and leading into the future – such as
  ‘continued doing’ or ‘went on doing. In the Adam/Eve story the reference is to the state of obedience or happy wherein they were)
• فِىۡ — Fee –In (= Contained or amidst a duration, time, place, period, thing or situation)
• هِ — Hay — It (= s., m., 3rd person. Ref is to مِمَّا i.e., the scenario or situation in which both Adam and Eve were )
• وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases or clauses; also; but; additionally; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
• قُل — Qool — Said (= v., past t., sing, in first person: Announced; commanded; conveyed; decreed; declared; directed; informed; instructed; mandated; ordered; revealed; stated; told; Also, elaborated; explained; expounded; specified)
• نَآ — Na…(uh) — We (= pro., pl., 1st person. Us. Used with God’s name it is the the authoritative way a higher-up talks to a subordinate)
• اهۡبِطُوۡا — Uh-bay-too — You go away (= Descend; exit; fall down; get down; get out; go down to; go forth; move out; proceed)
• بَبَعۡضُ — Bau-dzo — Some (= A few; a part; fraction; portion; others. See 003:035)
• کُمۡ — Koom — You  (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men. Generally this way the Holy Qor-aan addresses both men and women)
• لِ — Lay — For (= For the benefit, purpose or reason; on account of)
• بَعۡضٍ — Bau-dzin — Some of (= A few; a part; fraction; portion; offspring; others. See Note to 003:035)
• عَدُوٌّ — Ado-woon — Enemy (= Inimical; foe; with hostility and/or enmity)
• وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases or clauses; also; but; additionally; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
• لَ — La — For  (= For the benefit, purpose or reason; on account of; with
  intent to or object of)
• کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men. Generally this way the Holy Qor-aan addresses both men and women)
• فِىۡ — F…(il) — In /On (= Both ‘in’ or ‘on’ are appropriate to use. See Commentary in Note 002:028)
• الۡاَرۡضِ — Ur-dzay — Earth (= Area; country; earth; ground; land; territory. Life on earth; nation, people or society in general)
• مُسۡتَقَرٌّ — Moos-ta-qur-roon — Place to rest (= n., Abode. Dwelling. Habitat or Habitation. Place to stay and live for a short while. Resort. Rest Stop. Sojourn)
• وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases or clauses; also; but; additionally; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
• مَتَاعٌ — Ma-taa-oon — Benefit (= Comfort; decent living; sustenance; means of living; bountiful things; a place of enjoyment; a place with lots of provisions; Also valuable assets)
• اِلٰى — Elaa — For (= Until; till)
• حِيۡنٍ — Hee-n — Short while (= A period of time; prescribed term)
