Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                                  098:008

 

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِۙ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمۡ خَيۡرُ الۡبَرِيَّةِ

.

In-nul-la-zee-na-aa-ma-noo-wa-aa-may-loos-suaa-lay-haa-tay                                          O-laa-aiy-ka-hoom-khai-rool-ba-re-yauh.

 

Definitely those who believed and practiced proper acts                                             They all are the best of the creatures

  • اِنَّ — In-na…(ul) — Definitely (= Absolutely; certainly; doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed; in all seriousness; positively; really; surely; truly; verily)

The Holy Qor-aan has used the Phrase Aa-ma-noo-wa-amay … in many places

  • ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Refers to the Believers)
  • اٰمَنُوۡا — Aa-ma-noo — They Believed (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Believed in the Holy Qor-aan; became Moslems; entered Isslaam. See Commentaries Islam – 101 and Believe and Disbelieve. A/t/a, ‘believed,’ ‘believed (in the Oneness of Allah — Islamic Monotheism)’ and ‘have faith’)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
  • عَمِلُوا — Aa-may-loo(s) — Practiced (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Acted; carried out; did; kept up; followed; led; lived out; made effort; performed; practiced; pursued; persisted in; strove; tried best; worked)
  • الصّٰلِحٰتِ — Suaa-lay-haa-tay — Proper acts (= n., pl., Appropriate, befitting, correct, decent, fit, good, holy, honorable, moral, pious, proper, respectable, right; righteous, upright, virtuous or worthy acts, activities, deeds, manners, operations, practices, performances, pursuits, righteousness or works. Righteous actions which are appropriate in manner, time and place}
  • اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ — Olaa-aiy-ka — They all (= All those facts, persons or things)
  • ھُمۡ‌ — Hoom — They (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to the believers, اٰمَنُوۡا )
  • خَيۡرُ — Khai-ro…(ol) — Best (= At apex; on top; noblest; of greater, higher or more value; superior by comparison)
  • الۡبَرِيَّةِ — Ba-re-yauh — Creatures (= Created beings; God’s creation)

جَزَآؤُهُمۡ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنّٰتُ عَدۡنٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَاۤ اَبَدًا ‌ؕ رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُوۡا عَنۡهُ ‌ؕ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِىَ رَبَّهٗ

 

Ja-zaa-o-hoom-in-da-rub-bay-him-jun-naa-to-ud-nin                                                              Tuj-re-min-tuh-tay-hul-un-haa-ro-khaa-lay-dee-na-fee-haa-aa-ba-daa                                Ra-zay-yul-laa-ho-un-hoom–wa-ra-zoo-un-ho                                                                          Zaa-lay-ka-lay-mun-kha-she-ya-rub-bauh.

 

Their reward with their God is the Eternal Paradise.                                             Rivers will flow underneath it. They living in it forever.                                    Allah is pleased with them.  And they are pleased with Him.                               This is for anyone who feared his God.

 

  • جَزَآؤ — Ja-zaa-o — Reward (= Award; consequence; recompense; result)
  • ھُمۡ‌ — Hoom — Their (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to the believers, اٰمَنُوۡا)
  • عِنۡدَ — In-da — Near (= Close at hand; in the counting by; in the eyes or estimation of; with)
  • رَبِّ — Rub-bay — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures;
    Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident.  The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
  • هِمۡ — Him — Their (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to the believers, اٰمَنُوۡا)
  • جَنّٰتُ — Jun-naa-to — Paradise (= pl., Big groves. The Gardens. The orchards. See also   the Commentary titled as The Paradise)
  • عَدۡنٍ — Ud-nin — Eternal (= Eden; continuing till eternity; lasting forever; perpetual)
  • تَجۡرِىۡ — Tuj-ree — Flowing (= Running with irrigation water; sailing water)
  • مِنَ — Min — From (= From the class, category, count, kind or person of; out of)
  • تَحۡتِ — Tah-tay — Underneath (= Below; beneath; on lower level)
  • هَا — Haa…(ul) — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person. Refers to the paradise)
  • الۡاَنۡهٰرُ — Un-haa-ro — Rivers (= Bodies of water; streams)

The following construction of four (4) word is in 004:170 and 098:009

  • خٰلِدِيۡنَ — Khaa-lay-de-na — Living (= Those who abide, dwell or reside. Adding the words everlastingly, for ever after, forever, permanently and perpetually are appropriate only for the residents of the Paradise like in verses 002:083003:016004:014004:058 and  064:010. See the Note 002:040)
  • فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Inside a duration, time, period, place, phenomenon or thing. Concerning. In reference. Regarding. Relative to
  • هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid Paradise)
  • اَبَدًا — Aa-ba-daa — Forever (= Abide; live a long time)
  • رَضِىَ — Ra-zay-ya…(l) — Pleased (= Happy; well-pleased)
  • اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
  • عَنۡ — Un — About (= Concerning; regarding; relative to)
  • ھُمۡ‌ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to the believers, اٰمَنُوۡا)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
  • رَضُوۡا — Ra-zoo — Pleased (= Happy; well-pleased)
  • عَنۡ — Un — About (= Concerning; regarding; relative to)
  • هُ — Ho — Him (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the God Almighty)
  • ذٰلِكَ — Zaa-lay-ka — This (= This here. The aforesaid fact, person or statement. This was because; right in here is; such is; that is how it is)
  • لِ — Lay — For (= For the benefit, purpose or reason; with intent to or object of)
  • مَنۡ — Mun — Whoever (= Anyone; who; whom; whomsoever)
  • خَشِىَ — Kha-she-ya — Feared (= Was afraid of; stands in awe of; God-fearing)
  • رَبَّ — Rub-ba — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures;
    Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident.  The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
  • هٗ — Hoo — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the believers, اٰمَنُوۡا)
