  • اِذۡ — Iz — Whenever (= At the time or event; behold; call to mind; consider; now that; ponder over; recall; reflect, remember or think of the time, event, occasion, opportunity or time. The next present tense word تَقُوۡلُ makes it clear that the translation as ‘whenever’ is better for it makes the scope of this assurance enormously wider, applies to all times in the future, and is not limited to just the past)
  • تَقُوۡلُ — Ta-qoo-lo — You say (= v., pres., 2nd person., Answer; affirm; assure; convey; declare; specify; state; tell. See more meanings in our Commentary titled as ‘You say means...’)

  •  رَبُّ — Rub-bo — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)

* Note 003:125. Some translators ignored the grammar when they mistranslated the present tense original text تَقُوۡلُ into ‘You said” in the past tense. A past event can only be an illustration. A forecast always happens in the future and could be one to be filled again and again. A forecast merits to be translated in the present participle tense that covers both the present and the future
