The Holy Qor-aan 007:149
وَاتَّخَذَ قَوۡمُ مُوۡسٰى مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ مِنۡ حُلِيِّهِمۡ عِجۡلًا جَسَدًا لَّهٗ خُوَارٌ ؕ اَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا اَنَّهٗ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمۡ وَلَا يَهۡدِيۡهِمۡ سَبِيۡلًا ۘ اِتَّخَذُوۡهُ وَكَانُوۡا ظٰلِمِيۡنَ
Wa uta-kha-za qao-mo moo-saa
Min bau-day he min ho-lee-yay him
Ij-laun ja-sa-daun la hoo kho-wa-r
Aa laum ya-rao aun-na hoo
Laa yo-kaul-lay-mo hoom wa
Laa yauh-dee him sa-be-laa
It-ta-kha-zoo ho wa kaa-noo zaa-lay-mee-n
And the followers of Moses took for worship
After him — made from their ornaments —
The figure of a Calf which had a snort.
Did they not realize surely it was
Neither speaking to them
Nor guiding them on right road?
They took it for worship and became wrongdoers.

- قَوۡمُ — Qao-mo — Followers (= n., s., Addressees; attendees; fellows; followers; folks; nation; party; people; tribe. A/t/a, ‘the people’ and ‘the folk’)
- مُوۡسٰى — Moo-saa — Moses (= The name of a Messenger / Prophet of Allah)
- مِنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several articles, counts, kinds, things, persons or phenomenon. A/t/a, ‘of’ and ‘in’)
- بَعۡدِ — Bau-day — After (= Afterwards; behind; later; subsequently; succeeding. A/t/a, ‘absence,’ ‘after’ and ‘after (he had left them’)
- هٖ — He — Him (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to Moses. A/t/a, ‘his’)

- جَسَدًا — Ja-sa-daun — Figure (= n., Appearance. Body. Bulk. Figure. Form. Idol. Looks. Physique. Shape. Statute. Structure. A/t/a, ‘(lifeless) body,’ ‘lifeless body,’ ‘which was a lifeless body,’ ‘the image of … (for worship),’ ‘of saffron hue … “(because) the word in the Arabic (jasad) can only mean a body of flesh and blood, [therefore]” the meaning ‘saffron-colored’ is better),’ ‘a mere frame (of saffron hue)’ and ‘image’)

- خُوَارٌ — Kho-war — Snort (= n., Bellowing. Snorting. Pig’s snort originating from its highly sensitive and muscular snog. A/t/a, ‘a lowing sound,’ ‘a meaningless sound,’ ‘a hollow sound,’ ‘it seemed to low,’ ‘a sound like lowing’ and ‘a sound (as if it was mooing)’

- لَمۡ — Laum — Not (= Absolutely never; no, not at all)
- يَرَوۡا — Ya-rao — They realized (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Found. Gazed. Observed. Noticed. Watched. Witnessed. A/t/a, ‘Saw they.’ But ‘see’ and ‘they consider’ in the present tense are no translations of the past tense in the Holy Qor-aan text)
- اَ نَّ — Aun-na — Surely (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly; indeed; positively; really surely; truly; verily. See Note 002:128. A/t/a, ‘that’)
- هٗ — Hoo — It (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the aforesaid calf)
- لَا — Laa — No (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not, at all; absolute denial and total negation without) exception. See 002:003)
- يُكَلِّمُ –Yo-kaul-lay-mo — It talks (= v., pres., m., s., 3rd person. Addresses. Calls. Confers. Communicates. Coneys thoughts. Converses. Expresses. Utters. Says. Speaks. Talks. A/t/a, ‘could not speak’ and ‘could neither speak.’ But the past tense as in ‘did … speak coherently,’ ‘spoke’ and ‘spake’ is no translation of the present tense in the Holy Qor-aan text)

A/t/a, ‘indicate,’ ‘guide,’ ‘give … guidance’ and ‘show.’ But past tense as in ‘guided ’has not translated the present tense in the Holy Qor-aan text)

Those who commit, do, practice, repeat or habitually pursue the evil and cause grievous wrongs to others. Unfair. Unjust. Violators.
