The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                         025: 076

 

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يُجۡزَوۡنَ الۡغُرۡفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوۡا وَيُلَقَّوۡنَ فِيۡهَا تَحِيَّةً وَّسَلٰمًا  ۙ ‏

 

O-laa-aiy-ka  yooj-zao-na  ul-ghoor-fa-ta
Bay-maa  sa-ba-roo   wa  yo-lauq-qao-na
Fee  haa  ta-he-ya-taun  wa  sa-laa-maa

 

They all shall be rewarded with the loftiest prestigious place
Because they persevered and will be greeted
In it with ecstatic greeting and wishing peace.

 

  • اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ — O-laa-aiy-ka — All of these (= Acts; facts, items, persons or things. A/t/a, ‘These are,’ ‘These are the one who,’ ‘These,’ ‘It is such as,’ ‘They,’ ‘It is such Of those who’ and ‘those’)
  • يُجۡزَوۡنَ  — Yooj-zao-na … (ul)– Be paid (= v., pres., pass., s., m., 3rd person. Paid back; awarded; compensated; recompensed; reimbursed. At/a, ‘will be rewarded’ and ‘shall be rewarded’)
  • الۡغُرۡفَةَ — Ghoor-fa-ta — Loftiest place (= n., The highest living quarters. The most prestigious quarters like the Penthouse as known in America. A/t/a, ‘the highest place in heaven,’ ‘the highest place (in Paradise),’ ‘a high place in the Paradise,’ ‘with lofty mansions in Paradise,’ ‘lofty chambers in Paradise,’ ‘the high place,’ ‘high places’ and ‘Paradise’)
  • بِمَا — Bay-maa — Because (= Combination of two words.  بِ  means ‘with / in’ and  مَاۤ   means ‘all that, whatever, whatsoever or whenever. The combination  بِمَا  (bay-maa) means ‘because of; due to; for the reason that; in all that; on account of; owing to, with all that. See 002:092 A/t/a, ‘because,’ ‘forasmuch as’ and ‘for’)
  • صَبَرُوۡا — Sa-ba-roo — Persevered (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Demonstrated continuity.   Endured. Persevered. Persisted. Performed repeatedly  without failing, falling, flailing, faltering or fouling. Showed fortitude. Were consistent, determined, patient,  perseverant, persistent, pursuant, steadfast and unwavering. A/t/a, ‘they are patient,’  ‘they endured patiently’ and ‘they were steadfast.’ But ‘their patient constancy,’ ‘their patience’ and ‘their fortitude’ with the noun is no translation of the verb in the Holy Qor-aan text )
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; also; but; moreover; though; when; whereupon; while; yet)
  • يُلَقَّوۡنَ — Yo-lauq-qao-na — Be greeted (= v., pres., pass., pl., 3rd person. Greeted. Met. Received. Welcomed. A/t/a, ‘they will be welcomed,’ ‘they will be received,’ ‘shall they be met with,’ ‘they will meet,’ ‘they shall be  met,’ ‘are met’ and ‘There they shall find’)
  • فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Among. Inside a person or place. See Note 002:028)
  • هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person. Refers to the  الۡغُرۡفَةَ, the loftiest place in Paradise. A/t/a, (For this and the previous word together) ‘therein’ and ‘thereunto’)
  • تَحِيَّةً — Ta-he-ya-taun — Ecstatic greeting (= adj., Happy greeting. Loud welcome. A/t/a, ’with greetings,’ ‘greetings,’ ‘welcome’ and ‘salutations’)
  • وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., Links words, phrases or clauses. Seeوَ   above)
  • سَلٰمًا — Sa-laa-maa — Wishing peace (= n., Greetings. Action of invoking peace on another. A/t/a, ‘’peace,’ ‘in peace,’ ‘word of peace,’ ‘the word of peace and respect,’ ‘salutations,’ ’salutations of peace’ and ’a greeting’)
