The Holy Qor-aan 002:132
.
اِذۡ قَالَ لَهٗ رَبُّهٗۤ اَسۡلِمۡۙ قَالَ اَسۡلَمۡتُ لِرَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ
Iz-qaa-la-la-hoo-rub-bo-hoo–us-lim -qaa-la-us-lum-to-lay-rub-bil-aa-la-mee-n.
When his God said to him, ‘Submit,’ he said, ‘I submit to Lord Provident of the Universe.’
.
Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
* Note 002:132. Some translations have added the words (a) ‘now’ at the beginning of this verse and (b) ‘already’ before Abraham’s surrender to God. Such translations reflect as if Abraham’s ‘immediate’ compliance was preceded by a prior non-compliance, and that the Almighty God did not know before that Abraham had already submitted. Both the insinuations to say the least are preposterous. Abraham’s obedience was instantaneous and compliance glorious. Neither of those two superfluous words really accentuate his conduct. That is why they or their equivalent are not added in the above simple and straightforward translation.
