The Holy Qor-aan 007:141
قَالَ اَغَيۡرَ اللّٰهِ اَبۡغِيۡكُمۡ اِلٰهًا وَّهُوَ فَضَّلَـكُمۡ عَلَى الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ
Qoa-la aa ghai-ra ul-la-hay aub-ghe koom aiy-laa-haun
Wa ho-wa fudz-dza-la koom aa-la ul-aa-la-mee-n
He said, “Shall I get you a god other than Allah
And He preferred you over the worlds.
- قَا لَ — Qaa-la — He said (= v., past., s., m., 3rd person. Announced; called; conveyed declared; stated or told. See Note 002:031a. A/t/a, ‘He said,’ ‘He added’ and ‘(Moses) added’)
- اَ — Aa — Shall (= Word asking a question like are, can, could, do, did, have, had, shall, should, will, would, what, etc. A/t/a, ‘Am I,’ ‘How can’ or ‘Should’)
- غَيۡرَ — Ghai-ra — Other than (= Absent; besides; else; except; excluding; not; other than; out of; prohibiting; without. A/t/a, ‘other than’ and ‘but’)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God. A/t/a, ‘the (true) God’ and ‘GOD’)
- اَبۡغِىۡ — Aub-ghee — I get (= v., pres., s., 1st person. I get, go after, obtain, procure, pursue, seek, want or wish. A/t/a, ‘I seek for’ and ‘I seek … for’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You. A/t/a, ‘for you’)
- اِلٰهًـا — Aiy-laa-haun — A god (= n., s. Anything set up as a deity or alleged as GOD. Any idol, man-made object or statute treated as an Equal to or partner in the worship of the Only One, God Almighty. A/t/a. ‘any god’)
- وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., Links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; also; but; moreover; though; when; whereas; while; when; whereupon; yet)

- فَضَّلَ — Faudz-dza-la — He preferred (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Awarded liberal bestowing. Blessed. Graced. Gifted with benevolence, bounty, generosity, goodness; kindness and plenteousness. A/t/a, ‘Who hath endowed you with gifts,’ ‘He has made … excel,’ ‘He ‘exalted,’ ‘He has exalted,’ ‘He has preferred,’ ‘He has given … superiority’ and ‘He hath favoured’)

- الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ — Aa-la-mee-n — The worlds (= n., pl., The worlds; the whole wide world; the Universe; all that Almighty God has created. See Note 001:002.
