007:132

The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                                  007:132

Fa  aiy-zaa  jaa-aut  ho-mo  l-ha-sa-na-to
Qaa-loo  la  naa  haa-zay  he

 Wa  in  to-sib  hoom  suy-yay-aa-toon
Ya-tuy-ya-roo   bay  moo-saa
Wa  maun  ma-aa  hoo

Aa-laa  in-na-maa  taa-aiy-ro  hoom
In-da  ul-laa-hay
Wa  laa  kin-na  auk-tha-ro  hoom  laa  yau-la-moo-n

So when the good times reached them
They said, ‘This is for us as we deserved.”

And if a bad thing strikes them
With Moses they attach the blame
And whoever is with him.

Isn’t it really that their flight of imagination must come
From Allah?
But many of them do not know.

** Note: 007:132: Roots and Derivates (words derived from them) is a unique feature of Arabic language. The root ط ا ر  carries in its derivate words the meanings of coasting, flying or gliding in the air without a foot being on solid ground.

The words  يَّطَّيَّرُوۡاۡ   and  طٰٓٮِٕرُ  in this verse are derived from that root. Another word  طَيّرَاً means a bird if used as one of many kinds of noun, or means flying if used as an adj. (003:050)

The word  يَّطَّيَّرُوۡاۡ  (verb in the present tense, plural, of male gender in 3rd person) means they coast, fly, flutter, glide, sail, soar or winging like a flying bird with no foot on ground. The word implies that they made baseless accusation without any solid basis, ran just imagination, flew flight of thoughts, found fault, just guessed, pointed finger, ascribed, attached, attributed, charged, fixed, found, impugned, placed, planted or put blame, culpability or responsibility.

The word طٰٓٮِٕرُ is one of the several Aub-waab (kinds) of nouns. It means an accusation pulled out of air, baseless blaming, flight of thought, imaginary fault finding, total fabrication.

Verbs in the past tense have the following 14 derivate words.                                                                 For the 3rd person there are 6 words. For one male  طَا رَ  means he or it flew. Other words are for a) those two of male gender flew, b) all those of male gender flew, c) she flew, d) those two in female gender flew and e) all those in female gender flew.                              For the 2nd person there are 6 other words, starting with you one male flew,  b) you two males flew, c) you all males few,, d) you one female flew, e) you two females flew and f) you all females flew.                                                                                                                             For the 1st person there are 2 words: a) I flew and b) we flew.

Verbs in the present tense have 14 derivates. One off them is  يَطِيْرَ  meaning he or it flies. Different words are for those two of male gender fly, all those of male gender fly, etc.

Verbs in the present tense are made by adding the prefixes of  سَ  for (near) or  سَوْفَ  for (distant) future tense. That produces another (14+14) 28 words.
