The Holy Qor-aan 007:150
وَلَـمَّا سُقِطَ فِىۡۤ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَرَاَوۡا اَنَّهُمۡ قَدۡ ضَلُّوۡا ۙ قَالُوۡا لَٮِٕنۡ لَّمۡ يَرۡحَمۡنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا لَنَكُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ
Wa laum-maa so-qay-ta fee aiy-dee him
Wa ra-auo aun-na hoom qaud zaul-loo
Qaa-loo la in laum yaur-haum naa raub-bo naa
Wa yaugh-fer la naa
La na-koo-naun-na may-na ul-khaa-say-reen
And surely when they were dropped on their hands
And saw that they had gone astray
They said, “Surely if our God has no mercy on us
And forgives us,
We surely will be the losers.”

- لَمَّا — Laum-maa — Surely when (= This combines two words. First word لَ (=la) means absolutely, certainly, positively, surely, truly or verily. The second word ما (= maa) means any time, at such time, when and whenever. See Note 004:067. A/t/a, ‘when (the magic spell was broken)’
- سُقِطَ — So-qay-ta — Dropped (= v., past., pass., 3rd person. Became nullity, plummeted or slumped. Were crashed, crushed, ditched, dived, downed, driven, dropped, fallen, felled or sent down. A/t/a, ‘afflicted with remorse’ and ‘smitten.’ But verbs in active voice in ‘they feared the consequences,’ ‘they repented’ and ‘they awoke’ have not translated the verbs in passive voice in the Holy Qor-aan text)

- اَيۡدِيۡ — Aiy-dee — Both hands (= n., 2pl., Parts of human arms below the wrist consisting of thumb, fingers and palm that hold and manipulate certain motions. - هِمۡ — Him — Their (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. They; them; those; theirs)
